Now I have 2,349 sweat up for trade to get this rolling. Anyone?

Sorry to be -ve but if you want to give new players clothes (which they have initially) it would be much cheaper to scout the auction to pick up bargains. However, since recent changes also require a fair %age of tt value in clothes for them to look any good the minimum 'gift' will be approx 5 PED (enough for an Opalo n some ammo which most would immediately trade for).

Now if you want a painfully protracted way for other EU players to pay for you to skill Tailor, then I believe you have no real idea of how protracted this effort is.
To skill to lvl 10 tailor whilst giving your 'successes' away would cost....oh.....eh.....100k PEDishish. Kinda makes the hangar thing look like a gimme.

Well, I must say that I certainly don't intend to do anything here other than get people involved in a give away. You can ask my soc mates about me in game if you like. I am not looking for a handout for me.

The story goes back to my first few days in game when someone gave me free clothes. And I thought it was just great! I never traded them for a gun. I ended up depositing for a gun and ammo, and I still deposit small amounts whenever I can.

If the noobs I give these clothes to (if this works) want to trade them for a weapon, then so be it. That does not change the idea behind this act, which I really think is quite kind. Both on my part and on the part of anyone who trades to keep this poject going.

I'll say that I was the one who gave Thoth the clothes and it's pretty cool that he was inspired to do this! Well done Thoth!

Also, would it help if I bought 1k of that sweat with the intention that you buy Tailoring materials with the money? Would that work?

Im not disputing the intention, however you do highlight another aspect of this project. - Will trading come 1st? With the intention of 'trading up', then extensive craft? Or will you burn up donations on small runs, negating any capital generated along with the opportunity of 'trading up'? Or do you want to trade up whilst gathering resources over and above the trade 'float'?

To be honest it seems poorly conceived even tho the intention is good.
