Anywayy... Has anyone noticed that people aren't always using the Trading Channel when they are trading? It can be annoying.

I guess it could be so people can see your message better but... It's typed in the wrong channel.

Has anyone noticed this?

Yeah I get around that by only trading with people who use trade channel. Most spammers are using an autoclicker too usually stop when I mention anything about 'all the autoclicking spammers'. It used to be a lot worse too

hi amber, yeah i noticed this too, and i am guilty of breaking the trading window messages my self a few times to sell something. but i dont see a problem unless they are completely spamming with 8 long lines of spam. though other people might not like this completely and want it solved with some punishment. im sure some people have already sent in support tickets about it. if you like you can send one in and ask about what could be done to fix that.

Another reason might be older players havn't gotten used to the Trading channel system yet, becouse its relativly new. Aswell for new players havn't discoverd it yet. As long as you can tell them and they stop I don't see any problem.


Also, I hardly believe there will be a punishment for it. But sure a slap on the wrist would be nice

If they use autoclickers, how would they then notice you call them autoclickers...?

It is ironic you mention older players maybe not being used to trade chat. I mentioned the same thing on this thread.

Hi & welcome Amber. Yes, sometimes people forget, some people don't know, and a few use normal chat intentionally so that everyone sees the message.

It would be nice if MA sent out a warning to consistent offenders, but I guess its not a big enough issue really. Best thing to do is just not trade with those people I guess.

Also you'll probably find the traders at Twin Peaks are a bit more likely to use the correct channel than the traders at Port Atlantis (which has newer players generally).

yep peepz do indeed use the normal chat channel as trading channel.
