Ah, thanks. I took a break during the time that VU came out.

And I still think it's stupid that they won't. How hard can it be for them to check their logs, perform a search, verify you sold it to the tt, and then give it back? Or implement the lock item function. That would save them time and money with support cases like these. I understand they're working on CE2 updates, but I'd rather see some practical things such as this done instead of just making the game look pretty. I don't care about pretty.

Im happy the double confirm is there..... god knows how many times ive gone to Repair terminal thinking ill repair my stuff... put armor,fap,gun and amp in then click ok... then when the window pops up realise that NOT the repair terminal but a trade one and carefully cancel what im doing

Yep - I've scared myself a couple of times like that too!

I'm trying to think of reasons why MA won't allow items to be locked. It's something players want which would improve their confidence in and enjoyment of EU. I know naff all about coding but I'd guess it wouldn't take much to make this possible - anyone with more (any) knowledge on this care to comment?

Sadly, when a company chooses a less practical or less effective solution to any problem, the reason is usually money. So I'm guessing that MA prefer us to deposit a little more to replace items we foolishly tt.

i have ZERO pity. you fucked up. i never liked that they gave it back before and happy that they have a zero tolerance policy now. learn to live with your mistakes. the tt machine clearly states what youhave put in it. you have to accept the trade. it is all there in black and white. so many people in this world want to blame others for their problems. yeh, it sucks, but so does selling a very valuable trinket to the pawnshop for pennies. only to later fidn out you messed up.

Good idea..the books change as they get full so why not the BPs too?
Too many things look awfully similar IMO, making it easy to cock up badly especially with a little help from lag or human error. Crafted items and looted ones could automatically be added to a sub category in inventory to prevent them being mixed up with your own items and problems like this would be much rarer whatever the cause initially.

BTW there may be a double confirm in the TT but there isn't in auction, I've lost a minor TP chip to lag in there only recently...having set min bid and BO only to find it ignored and sold instantly at tt to an order...what I was looking at on my screen simply wasn't happening at the other end apparently. MA couldn't help as their logs said a different story...but they were understanding and sympathetic even if unable to do anything.

Sad loss ..sorry to hear this story, maybe we all learn from it and take more care, in which case it's worth sharing.

YES!!! & how about fixing the ammo stacking bug that i remember from what...2006 after one VU...do they have a bug archive that they keep going back to for sentimental reasons...fix it now please!!!

And a few lines of code that throw up a red flashing screen when anyone tries to TT any item with a high % or +tt...so simple to do honestly.....QR100 blueprint + TT machine = mistake obviously!
