id do what most of posters here would do. wait approx 10 mins and see if some1 came for it. it might be the case that some1 dies on their way, loses the coords, is a noob who doesnt know what that all was about, so leaving the ship untouched would be like leaving it for some1 else to take. but absolutely id give it to the player who found it or helped a newbie to retrieve it.

have to admit, i saw a spaceship that wasn't mine while out mining one time...

ran up to it and spent 5 min trying to figure out how to open it. took it all! never thought about who might have dropped the bomb that turned it on nowadays, i would most likely wait a little while before taking it.

but a long time ago, when i bought my first ek-2600, i overpaid by several hundred ped then crashed. about the same time as i figured that i had almost no ped left. that guy was very nice and traded me as soon as i logged back on. *now slapping myself* cause i didn't add him to FL as a trustworthy trader -.-
