well i like much they notify. i just remember when they D/C'd server without notifying and many times so. i didnt like it.

i hope they start notifying everytime now.

Not everytime is a planned shutdown. Its obviously impossible to notify in advance that a router will get overloaded or something else will break down.

Afaik, they do notify on all planned shutdowns, and have been for quite some time. (several years)

But its not so common with 20min advance notice, most of the times I've seen, there has been only 5 or 10min advance notice.
