Back in the days, if you were standing in a pond with colored(toxic) water, you would recieve 50 dmg with a few seconds in between.
That way you could be standing and fapping all day long.

I tell u what - autoclick for crafters even if its prohibited, is massively tolerated by MA, because them ppl click tru masive amounts of money, while on AC.

But using the same way to get free - skills, sweat, whatever..noway. And thats crap.
I heard its used for taming alot too btw.

Apart from what Sarah Hawkwood said already, those who just want to run the same route without speaking to others for months 24/7, will aggro mobs on you while you're hunting in an LA, meaning more decay for you in terms of armor and fap, or depending of your skills and mob, you might get killed, which means more decay for your gun and more ammo spend 'cause of the regeneration. AND, if you were killing a mob near the revive, now the bot user aggroes mob to run to the turret, so well, useless decay and ammo spent for you while killing it, when everything would've been okay if some mindless dude wasn't running there all the time.

And yes, you can go away from the revive, or to the other direction they are running, but boy, do some mobs aggro from far away or what :|

Report them to support. They'll be temp. locked if they interfere with your 'enjoyment' e.g. aggroing stuff on you. (i.e I have had autorunners aggroing atrax stalkers, formidon etc ).

If you read the EULA, you may see that you prevent them from enjoying the game. They do nothing to you.

I agree that lots of skills ingame are gained thanks to various illegal methods. But I do not agree that it is good or honest thing. And once again, even if they do not speak english, they can say "no speak english" or "no understand" or even "FY" or whatever. They can even say something in their native language. If they do not, and if they do not react if someone blocks them additionally, for me case is simple: scan, screenshot, report to support. All. Because of one simple reason: I already am competing with people who might have more money or time than me. And I'm ok with this. It's healthy. But I do not wish to compete with bots additionally, bots who have all the time in the world.

Maybe it's a way to go around EULA. Still, if MA checks (if they have possibility to do this and I suppose they have some possibilities), there is no difference between software AC and hardware one from the MA side. I'm not sure if they would be able to see any difference and threat them different than software AC...

From official info, you compete with yourself and with environment. Not with other players. Other players are just part of environment and you just may compete with the wrong part of the environment, but that is your choice.

All I can say is that the best attitude in EU from an official was the attitude thad Hurricane had when he organized the WoF. Whatever is to hard to control, is permitted. It is simply unfair to make a rule when you know that is no way to do anything to enforce it. MA can learn alot from the official organizer of WoF. They could give him a job for that matter.

I don't approve bot users. But when I know how the things work I think is lame to report one avatar or another. I did filed support cases asking about their view on AC use and about old time skillers and about how fair crafting or hunting profession is. I got an answer that insulted a bit my intelligence. Is not my job to hunt bot users and I will never report any. I would even say that as many people skill evade for free, as good for EU will be... It may be the best way to make MA do something about it.

EULA also say that you can interact with many people or with no people. You can choose to ignore them all if you want. If this is how you want to play, no other player can force you. You are not even forced to be nice or polite to others. Is not your job to do that. You are not an employee that has to make life easy for the rest of the customers. If you choose to be a nice person, that is all it is: your choice. If one want to be a jerk it has the right to be, as long as he is not stalking one avatar and dose something against one particular person with the purpose of ruining its gameplay. As long as one dose whatever he dose wherever he dose, however he dose, you can move around and get out of range.

For example, I hunt sometime in PvP. I can get killed repeatably by a stronger player . If I get killed, I chose to fight back or walk away. Or call up my friends, or whatever. I react to a situation however I like. Is my right, as is his right to enjoy EU in that sick way that I hate. The map has so many places and so many mobs... ME is not that expensive... He may have a bot that kill all green dots on radar... So what if he has?

Even tho those runny guys dont gain skill fast it IS free skill with no investment.

they are making profit from them even if they are just taking the skills and tradeing to their real avatar.

lastly they have done damage to us all because MA has had to rewrite skill gains to deter this action.. if they stopped early skill gains from bots then guess what.. they fucked us outta skills also in the process..

Those of you sticking up for the run bot delete yer alts and work for your ingame status like most of us. or go back to nintendo where cheat codes will forever save yer ass cause ya cant play a game from start to fininish without them.
