What happened to the banned users?

Maybe a silly question , and I think it have been asked before - but

1. what happened to the owner of two land areas (Nonstop or Nostop or whatever his name was)
2. what happened to Akoz, and why is he still around / if he is.
3. There was another one, bot user as far as I know, very well known at the time - 1-2 years ago.. who?

What about the land areas? The Caudatergus landarea is abandoned, and no fertilizer or no mobs in the area...

Does this "owner" still get his taxes paid out, or should the taxes be returned to another owner? In that case I will take care of it and only at 1% tax

Sorry if this question already been asked... In that case, could U point me to the thread, also please someone explaining me what really happened?

Lastly: Do Mindark handle these issues correctly by banning people and leaving landareas around unhandled?

1 - Nostrop, still banned afaik for the hunting bot thing.

2 - Akoz only had a brief suspension, wasn't related to the hunting bot stuff.

3 - Hunterz, also still banned for the hunting bot thing. May have been others too. Hieronyme I think was banned for being a knowing accomplice if I recall the rumours correctly.

I guess maybe for legal reasons they can't sell the land areas on.

One thing maybe they could do is put the tax on 0% and feed the fertiliser machine themselves I dunno.

I think that case with Nostrop HunterZ Hero+Riga Team is still ongoing , since their lands still garner tax and the LA's have not yet been relisted.

Apart from reappearing as Merou Graou Dacat, it is suspected Heironyme has another 'new' avatar, since MGD sold out and stopped mining a few months ago.

The new avatar (suspected) has not denied they are not Heironyme.

For further information, lock member of StK/MtE in a basement till they tell you who HunterZ is now.

I was mining in OLA 30 and saw black helicopters departing the land marker.
I didn't pursue, deciding that sometimes selective ignorance is wisdom.

But, I think that if an avatar expires, the owner can collect the tt value of its goods. Since these various la's are still taxed, I am of the opinion that they are just waiting to cash a sweet check one of these days, when MA decides that the avatar has expired.
If not, where the hell are those taxes going?

Fortunately, I'm in a position to fill you all in.

After his ban, to alleviate some of his guilt, Nostrop joined a group of Missionaries in South America. After he realised this was too much like hard work, he built a robot version of himself, and sent that out to do his work for him. His robot-self is still spreading the word of the Lord.

Nobody knows quite what happened to him after that, but there have been reports of sightings of him in a canoe off the coast of the Northeast of England.

Akoz, even though you might see him inworld still, has decided to go through with the operation after years of deliberation. Good luck with the removal of your man-veg, Akoz!

HunterZ has unfortunately been put in the gallows for high-treason. The stoning is at noon!

EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention - The land areas have been donated to the Rumplestiltskin Memorial Fund. All taxes from the area will be used to re-chrome the die-cast figurines on the facia of their headquarters in Albaquerque, New Mexico.

533 days of inactivity your account dies (you can still log in to website), however if there are issues with the termination (such as this one where it was MA's first major step at wiping out the use of bots+cheats) it could still be ongoing for some time.

i think the only solution for this is try getting banned and let us know the outcome

I think that the owners of these accounts are only entitled for the tt value of their items,, so a LA for tt is quiet a hit in the sack

but who knows MA might unban those accounts after they set an example out of em.
