Slightly annoyed about LG-Mentality

Ok, time to rant some about what bothered me these two last weeks, but mostly the last. Soc's dividing land. I think that is one of the most stupid things to happen. Where is the competition guys and girls? Are you so affraid of your precious peds that you can't have a descent fight? I know some fighting happened, but much more less than if you all where secret about your areas.

Planned dividing squises out the smaller socs. The rich get richer, and the poor pays the taxes. Is this really the way we want PE to be? Someone will certainly draw parallells to irl, and I do understand, but at the same time, draw parallells from the dividing part too, then it's not that realistic anymore.

If this is going to be the issue every 6th month, I have one thing to ask for: Could you ubers please assign one or two landareas to the lesser socs, so we can take part in the fun? I doubt this will ever happen, as most ubers in my eyes, are self obsessed whiners, that aren't able to share the fun, the wealth, the land. And as for this lg we saw today, I was actually waiting for some of the socs that claimed alliance with other socs to stab them in the back. If this happened I don't know, but I wouldn't be surpriced.

Ok, I guess I'll be getting lots of neg.rep. for this, but these words are my thoughts, and I hope people will open their eyes to what's going on around us.

Ps. No, I'm not jealouse of those that participate in lg.

Totally agree...wasnt really a landgrab battle but more of an agreement on who was gonna get what part before it actually started..

Thats so fuckin sad...

Did you even read the claim list?
Only soc that got 2 lands were cc so there were tons left for the lesser societies. And even though some of us didn't spend much money fighting for the land this time (was too little time and too many claims, who would we fight really?) we made sure to blow each other up at the tps after our claims were done (=

Most of the excitement of LG has been damped after the first LG around 6 months ago. A lot of people know that it’s not worth the effort to struggle for a piece of land when people’s equipment and non existing rules make LG very predictable. You know the outcome more or less, with a few exceptions.

It has become a game for the “upper class” societies to gather and have some fun - not saying its wrong - but hardly the intention LG had when it was introduced by MA last spring. In six months it will become another round of LG, and the only difference will probably be that societies change LG areas with each other.

I’m looking for some excitement in LG, and especially for the majority of societies (let say at least the top 50). They are more or less none existing today, and if LG should have a major impact on the game is has to be more “public”. MA has lot to do here, before we fully can enjoy LG as it was intentionally explained.

no offence , but i do not see that soc as MAJOR PKING UBER SOC .
they managed to get gear , they got som old player .... but for shure they are not really well know for pking or skilling all the time.
i say "bravo" to them , and i think som should less whining and maybe more work to make their soc better.
this time MA put 14 claim , in 90 min.
lots of soc managed to do something good like DNA , les amis de fernand ....

do you think that evryone planed who go for what land ... i say lol
if that was right , CC and cK do not be alied to keep an claim...

I agree with Etopia here. If there were any conspiracies you would have seen two or three socs take them all, which they could have probably done.

i'm sorry but i dont have any problem with the taxes and such because i see most of that tax money going back into the land to making Ameth a new and better place to hunt.

I agree it is a bit of a status thing too. and i bet all who won land had a blast and a felt very good about themselves.

as for smaller socs not having something like this.
Well i'm looking forward to my soc using the new event system
