robot attack... (22th May 2005)

This attack was great. It started one moment after i TP'ed to Camp Phoenix with plan of selling some axes. When its begun someone shouted "who bring the robots here" but after a minute of "noob bloodbath" everybody was knowing it was an full scale robots invasion. Robots was well iformed where to attack because Camp Phoenix have the weakest defence systems. Good for us many fully armored and armed worriors jumped into this region to defend our land. Full scale war has started....

Ive got some screens :) They are no as good as they could be because of enormous lag :). I vas recording this as well but performance is was soo bad that there is not sens in posting my film. Sorry for my bad english, ihope i didnt make lot of mistakes.

I thought it was great to see the robots attacking, but Like someone else said.....
CP is one of the worst places for it....I mean, MA should know their own servor load enough to know that this was a bad idea.

For this first time, I could actually afford to fight in the attack (I would lose, cause i just had one small knife and a D3, but still). I could barely move from the tp cause of lag,....i felt like I was looking at screens of the event instead of the actual thing.

1 FPS lol...I was getting maybe 1 FPM (minute) that's just sad. These attacks are awesome and I'm glad they are happening. I even saw a cK team get a hof in CP during it.......but they should really address the lag issues more first, before doing this in places like CP.

Yup, don't know who edited the title but it wasn't me.

Any event that causes more than 40 players to be in the same area gets laggy, so I don't think location is that important. And most of the "ubers" turned up too late for a change

funny stuff, funny stuff.... when this had happened, i had 3 disciples on, one a real n00b, the other two out hunting molisks with me... i got a call from the former (who was in cp) and it was TOTALLY untintelligeble... somehow, the game had only managed to get, like, every third character... lol.... (i think it should be duly noted hes on a 56 kbs dialup)
i called someone else, wondering what the hell was going on, and they knew...told my disciples, "dont shoot at anything.... if you get shot, just let it kill you and relog." for those of you who dont know, relogging in a body-pile situation like that will cause you to inadvertantly log in ON TOP of the building... if you dont believe me, i have pictures of me on top of almost every mobile service center in the game.
anyway... one of them got killed, but came back, the other and i were perfectly fine (we were just laying down on the outskirts lol) and just watched the show....
didnt have fraps installed. still dont, in fact. so no screenies but, im pretty much sure you all have seen the others... ( i couldnt, my pc wouldnt fully load them)

ah well. my first robot attack, their first, and one of the best laughs ive had in a long time.

I still think to Bot attack ion TI was better less lag and bigger bader bots
