who has made profit?

I deposited $5-6k USD - thats some 50-60.000 PED

My skills values is about 160.000 PED now.

Items are ~100.000 Ped

Thats 260.000/60.000 = 433% profit

But now dont U count the hours and calc my hourly salory...

The value of everything changes all the time. I bought a Dark Strife jacket for about 200 ped maybe 2 monthes ago. More recently I saw one go for 1,600 ped.
Other direction, I bought 3 pieces of vampire armour for nearly 800 ped, again roughly 2 monthes ago. I could get those same three pieces for less than 200 now, aprox.

Your calculated networth doesn't mean anything unless you actually plan to leave, and I strongly doubt anyone is doing that anytime soon.
Therefore, you'll never really know if you have a profit or not until the time comes.

Ive been playing for quite some time now, but i took a long break due to a massive amount of losses.

I started off normally, found sweating boring so i deposited. Then i got a little too involved in hunting, and next i found that i had nemesis and a MKII with 103 amp, and burning through k's of PEDs a day, without the skills to even hit most of the time

I think i bunged in about $1k and after loosing about half of it i decided on a change, so i chose crafting, and again i was doing 10k click runs and as most can probably imagine i soon ran out

So i sold my remaining equipment and said goodbye to EU.

After going after a few more mmo's which i found were really boring compared to EU. I decided to come back, (but problems with lots of ports being blocked by my uni's router so cant play it much anymore, i just follow the forum here and wish that i had been in for all the recent events... *sigh*), and with the remaining 70 ped on my card i decided to go for mining, i read every thread on the forum, adopted a few techniques and after a few days i was up to 370 ped (without depositing), and i managed to stay at that value until i couldnt get online anymore. And with that im already up to lv6-7 surveyor, in a few days.

So what im getting at is.... if you take for granted the peds on your card, you will most likely loose them unless you are extremely lucky and glob/hof alot. But if you are careful and do the appropriate research into the respective field you are going into then you are giving yourself the best chance of success, im not saying dont have fun, do that, but just dont spend all your peds on unloading rounds into feff's for fun!

like i said on the DELETED post... tomthebuzz and skippy can make profit coz they get those 10k ubers everyday.. but dont think u would get.. theyr swedish.. and they know whos ass to lick
(unless ur swedish u have no change of making profit, u will just be the lootpool filler to swedish ppl)

Been keeping my nose out of the water during my 10 months in EU.

To be honest it wouldn't be the case haven't I Hof'ed in september, and if nothing happens this week or the next I will experience a setback.

However, if I hadn't withdrawn 4k peds from the hof I'd still be on the upper side

As EVK pointed out Skippie is from the US. And tom thebuzz hardly licks MA's ass - just read his signature. His location is Denmark according to his EF profile in any case.

If you're so jaded with it all, why not take a break? In any case, please stop whining on every thread you post on, its getting tiresome.

I started playing in Nov 05. Completely sold / chipped out and withdrew over $6,000 this past September, of that roughly two grand was profit. Had it not been for a few lucky hofs, inflation on my camo and the nice tiger arms I looted I would have prolly lost money.

Now I'm back...basically starting over out of sheer bordom after selling out.

BS - Ruskea - I take that as another insult against my personality - I never licked ANYONES ass - I'm proberly the most angry and anti MA personal in this game and on forum...
