Something Should Be Done About This...

Sadly some people tend to like humany misery and they are causing it delibearately. There is not much you can do in EU if you take it to personaly but if you don't it's much easier. Here is what I do:

1) If someone brings a train of mobs to me while mining I kill them all or die if I can't. I can handle up to 10 small troxies or few biggers ones at the same time. Decay is a bitch but it is your small victory if he brings mobs to you and you survive while he dies (don't forget, not all mobes will go for you).
2) If someone is screwing you with decoys (example I had on CP) dropping them all around you you just change the dome or dome corner and ignore him. I once even globaled nicely off a mob someone dragged on me and I was poolite enough to say "Thanks mate, great teamwork. Would you be so kind to bring me some more mobs?"
3) Just leave for afew minutes. These guys live from attention. If you deprive them of that pleasure they will give up and move to their sad little rl corner to mourn.

It is major mistake to take it personaly and start talking to them. Trough that you are just putting more fuel into the fire.

I couldn't agree more....

No matter where you go in this world, seems there is a jerk around every corner... Some ppl just aren't happy unless they are making others miserable...Not that it excuses his behavior... Perhaps the cry for attention is a result of him lacking a certian............... well you can use your imagination

As much as it may have come across as a personal attack... chances are it was not... You were just there at the wrong time... If not you, it would have happened to some one else... Again, it doesn't make what he did right...

well he was and still is an ass for this...i had some respect for him spamming all those hofs but now...well he is an ass...he had the nerve killing you and smiling...well..i for one would have let things calm down 30 min and do the same thing for him to see his smile then..
crappy thing to do and a support case would be welcomed.
Don`t know his intentions : maybe he was clearing the dome or something...but there is no reason to clear the dome of ppl too with a preety good cost...armour decay, fap decay and maybe some ammo trying to kill some of them..

write a support case to MA about him harassing you, and quote the part of the EULA it violates. Not saying anything will come of it, but it wont be the first time players from his Soc has had support cases filed against them. The soc seems to be a sort of haven for some post-banned players.

Another thing that bugs me is that to many people are way to eager quoting forum rules every chance they get, must make them feel important in some way I guess. Let people be , everyone has their job and if a rule is broken let an admin decide if its worth shooting the poster with forum rules.

On topic :

When I saw the name squall I was really amazed that he would behave in such way. As someone else said he is a regular globaller in both mining and hunting showing he is a pretty active player.
Even if Jambon's pictures don't really show the story i don't think he is somehow making anything up, maybe squall could come in here and tell us what it is all about , I see no better solution than that. We are guessing at everything unless the 2 people involving this happenings share their story's and reasons.

Due to the moderators doing volunteer work, I see no problem with self-policing. It makes their (moderators) job much easier to handle.

For instance i know hes probably running around for getting the mobs out of the way for his mining plottering so if hes just taking some room for himselve like we all must do now and then it isnt an attack on u as an person but hes just clearing the dome for running around so maybe nexttime u will get an advantage too.

We all do our own things . even when it is odd.

I completely agree with this statement/question.

I've always had a personal space policy I've adhered to. I can't always be alone in an area, but I try to keep other hunters off the radar. Bringing another player into your inner circle on the radar is not cool. And if someone mob trains right by me, I'll kill anything that drops from him and attacks me, and politely ask if they'd like assistance in killing the mobs.

I think following those rules have made me a fairly pleasant player to hunt/mine near. I don't expect everyone else to follow these rules, but I appreciate it when other respect my personal space as well. And if someone really is that persistent about invading my personal space, I'll just go somewhere else, or log out for a while. Nobody's perfect, and as such, I've lost my temper once or twice, but the other guy was pretty obnoxious.
