From my point of view it wasn't so much economy (no reason in theory why you can't hunt big economically) but making sure your activities are well-suited to your bankroll.

Let's say I have a game with a friend that I have 51% chance of winning, but we play at even odds. Obviously its a good game for me to play, but if I start with £100 and bet £50 on each game there's a very good chance I'll go broke anyway. If instead I played for £1 each time and played a lot, then there's a much better chance I'll survive to see the long run profits. The point is to last long enough to ensure that a run of 'luck being against you' can't break you. (If the run of 'bad luck' never stops, then you got the odds wrong and it wasn't bad luck at all)

Pick your self up mate and get you self of that rock!

If you don't have the cash to play big, I would advise you go and sweat @
Atlas Island North (AIN) there you will find good friendships and there alot of sweaters there.

I my experince it's alot more fun to sweat in a group

Anyhow welcome back

I think I am going to quit afterall.

I just ran out of ammo and those CND mobs even the low ones kill be before I can get sweat from them.

Im just torturing myself at this point.

Also another problem is since this game all revolves around MONEY you don't get the Soc's backing you would get from any other mmorpg because money brings distrust.

Is buying a single lottery ticket stupid also ?

Basically that is what going to CND with 80 bombs is. No good for longivity, but then again, EU doen't have much longivity without either big luck, vast knowledge of the game or big deposits.

The thing is, this game is very unforgiving to noobs who have never stubled upon EF and even most of those who read the tutorials first find out the hard way.

I started again from scratch, with over 3 years exp within PE/EU as I believed it was possible to stay close to even hunting small mobs with the new SIB L guns. For me, it wasn't possible as I used up all the 2.5k peds I'd left on my ava from cashing out. The peds went slower due to using guns that fired 2 ammo at a time but it still went. Unfortunately, I find that dynamic translate to volatile and unpredictable within EU and the hardest thing to do (which was said to me by a soc mate last night) is STOP

This sounds sensible and obvious but I log in to play EU. I have a family that takes most of my time so if I have a spare hour or 2, I want to play for an hour or 2, not be in my shit loot period and have to log off. I'm stuck in the past I know where every mob looted and you got items in loot and you always got 80% back so could control your playing habits etc

Blimey, I sound like I'm talking about an online casino, not a game

Well I really don't want to quit. But I don't see much of a option right now.

I see myself going through this repeatedly while I watch the rich people have a blast at my expense.

well, i've never related to that statement.

i think when ppl think they loose peds cause some rich person is out there profiting, it's cause and effect.

i've never seen a spec of evidence that suggests that someone that looses their peds mining at cnd profits an aurli hunter.

putting yourself in a position to win in eu takes time, hard work and investment. it doesn't happen overnight. and even on the top of the economy pecking order, it's still a tough road to hoe every day, at times.

again, if you view 140 peds as a serious investment, you are playing the wrong game.

my advice is to you, that if you feel the game is stacked against you, then you should quit. if eu makes you unhappy, don't play eu. realizing that this game is an entertainment expense for most and paying for it if you enjoy it is very important.

what mining gear are you using? what other items and things do you have in your inventory.. i'm sure you can come up with a way to get off that rock and back down to the planet...

sweating and dying go hand in hand..

Mate what can I say im always like that...My ped card i always at like 3 ped then suddenly I hit 30 ped and a day later I loose 25 and so on till I deposit which I rarely do.

Lately I was doing great and had like 200 ped saved then I got scammed and lost my vigi...back to broke.

So what can I say my EU life has been like a rollercoaster ride.

There was the time I had 1ped lleft on my card and decided to go hunting just to waste that last ped well the came back with a little profit lol, hunted again more profit, and again more profit and on the last run I managed to loot a Fap 50 back then when they were expensive.

So you can have luck and eventually make 100ped out of 1 ped though its unlikely. Just don't give up
