i had similar experience. i had greater skills. i also offer coloring services. they bring the paint, i charge no fee. but after a week of being called scammer .. i gave up going to the customers. now, if folks want me to color something, they can find me in Argus.

even so, my best suggestion would be to pick an item. color it, bleach it, repeat often. gain skill levels and as you unlock each color (check with sarahs thread over in clothing) - continue to skills with the new levels .. i am nearly to 31 and i STILL need double umber to achieve decent results.

Beginning a profession is hard.

Offering your services in any profession is even harder.

Offering your services in a profession with 0 skills is going to get some flak.

Just skill a bit...otherwise people are going to err on the side of caution.

It's also interesting that you chose to start offering your services in aprofession whichc, unless you have an alt, you know every little about. You are going to be a bigger possible waset of peds and resources than soembody with a couple levels in painting. Your skills do not indicate that you have any understanding of the amount of paints, fields of clothes, or saturation sliders. You may understand these fulkl well, but the prudent potential customer is going to check you out...i.e. scan.

I'm not calling you a scammer. I'm just pointing out that I can see how other people could easily have assumed you were.

Get some skills...build some street cred. Good luck.

i will personally vouch for keltigirl , ingame name kindra , she is a very respected member of the EU community , and if i heard some call her a scammer i would invite them to the ring for an attitude adjustment
