I think we will not be able to be pirates. Mabe only in Space pvp zones if it will exist. Pirates will be mobs i think.

One thing i think about is spaceships . I hope ppls who have hangar will play a big part around this part. They will be mabe the only ones who will be alowed to "travel" from a spaceport to an another and , ofc, they will be mabe attacked a little by pirate bots and passengers will defend the ship.

So, a new crafting book will come soon, named Space technologie Blueprint book. In it we will find some differents Capsules to go hunt in space, who burn oil, some limited and some no. The Limited capsules (or ships) will be equiped with weapons and will use heavy Weapon cells. U will find low capsule at afordable prices but designed to hunt small pirates due to the low weapon equipement. As well, u will find high end L capsules very well equiped in weapons , to hunt biggest pirates.
In an other hand, like armors on Calipso, u will be abble to loot those new technologies , Unlimited, on pirates.
After regroup the most parts of a capsule (ship) u will have the possibility to improve his equipement with a lot of cannons and others things, who all can be looted as well as they can be crafted.

Once u equip a capsule, on the correct launching pad, u will be TPed inspace, ready to explore or fight. If u die or if ur capsule is to broke, u will be TPed directelly on ur initial launching zone or in the few space revivals and stations (equiped with auctioners and repair, TT ...).
Some space areas will be available for sale as well as a LA on calipso.

For mining, u will have some special Mining rockets...

This is freaky. I was dreaming other nite that some big event was about to start in EU. And that we'd find out about it in the next few days. Hope there is something for a noob with a few skills and under 1k ped left to gain from this. Hate always feeling like i'm missing the boat. Kicks self for wasting peds in the past.

Reading the posters and taking them as an advert for people outside of EU to draw them in, couldn't this just be a PVP event on CND and that either we're the pirates or a new mob in some of the domes.

Almost everything else we can do already, fly spaceships - hanger owner / pilot, find planets - fly to Calypso.

It could also be that after all of MA's antics over the last year I've become extremely cynical of anything EU related.

I don't think so.. whatever it is... "Space" is opening in the fall of 2008.
