Just wondering what sort of info are you looking for on the IPO ?

Analyst views ?
Speculation wether it be good or bad in general ?

There is so much here, though a lot of it is repetative MA intends to go public, yet no juicy bits most likely not worth your time.

I will get you some of the more useful stuff during the new week if you could let me know more specifically what area/direction your research is leading regards to this.

I'm keen for the juicy bits - so far all I can find is speculation - only that MA "intends" to go public - can't find any info on an underwriter. Be great if there was even one comment from an analyst or investment bank as an advisory about the investment potential of EU.

I wonder how many members of the EU community intend to invest if given the opportunity?

Leave it with me. I have finally caught up with the activities plan timeline on my side so will have a little more time on my hands next week (taking a breather atm and cruising) to catchup on some of the URLs snaked yet to be read.

Unfortnuately like yourself, the ones read so far are mere speculation, though I am a member of a number of investment groups and am keeping a close eye on their reviews for anything to crop up.

I believe Credit Suisse ? is the organisation handling the IPO so I will add that to the search criteria and rerun the snake which should take about 48 hours to complete from all the worldwide search engines, only on a 1Mbit link here atm, darn country bumpkins

Keep in mind, a lot of information regarding the IPO will slowly creep in in coming weeks, so if there is not too much now, best to redo your own search every 2 or so weeks for new info.

Regarding the community, there has been a thread upon it, mainly polled along with some input from participants ...

Umm. We already have? Investing EU is investing in the US dollar. So when the dollar crashes? Well.... for everyone except the US >_>

Technically we all actively manage investments in EU. The question is whether we intend to passively manage them.

Of course, as you say, there is 'intention', and there is 'doing'. Until it actually goes public it will always be 'intending'. Here's some links from various sources.

Just let me know where you see EU in a few years time

- how many people online in 2010?
- will there be competitors emerging?
- will EU be more of a business or gaming platform in the future?

From what I know, EU has recently been losing players - but with Cry2 and Space Pirates coming out soon, that is pretty sure to attract some publicity.

SL I think is the main competitor, being the only other major Real Economy virtual universe.

My opinion - it's going to become business. Or, a very expensive game.

It looks like everything is very tight lipped at this stage as Credit Suisse is still under-taking it's evaluation.

The plan is to release the information sometime in the second half of 2008, my guess would be sometime in Q3 as trading usually slows down in the Q4 season in the month to six weeks before christmas.

I could throw you up a couple of hundred links, though the info is pretty much all useless, nothing really there with substance. Just what is intended to be done with the launch of the IPO;

No analysis based on the offering ofc due to their being no offering at this stage to do the analysis upon.

For the time-frame that your report is due I am afraid there will be nothing upon what you have already found, as far as juicy bits are concerned that I can add at this time.

You may wish to not focus too much upon the IPO due to the lack of information available other than to lightly touch upon the fact that MindArk intends to go public and for the reasons listed, aquistions to strengthen their position not only in the marketplace but with their current (CRD) & Future partners, profit dividends, etc etc etc.
