All shares are now sold. any further donations will be considered donations to the fund as a whole and not counted as Shares.

We are still waiting for the interest distribution before we can move on to our next step of trading EFD to PED/Items.

We've got quite the demand for more shares.

I'd like some share holders to nominate themselves as available trustee's.

A trustee will loose the ability to earn interest on his/her own EFD.
A trustee will be required to swap IRL contact info with myself and other trustee's.
A trustee will need to be an active member of the community for over 1 year.

If I find there is an availability for more trustee's I will determine if we should make more shares available right off the bat.

Please post in this thread if you consider yourself for trustee nomination.

although I agree expanding is the way to go, I also think we should move forward with this idea and see how it goes before it becomes too complicated.

Remember this is a test idea, lets flesh it out before grabbing another 500K.


I would also suggest some dummy holding accounts instead of each individual person. Check with 711, he may bend the rules to give you more logins, or may have the ability to increase individuals efd amount above 500K....(which would be the best way to go IMHO)

I agree with you 100% NetStalker.

I just want to get a feel for how many accounts may be available. as i already know there is a demand for shares. (But I think we would be at a ceiling about midway through the 500k of needed EFD so I personally believe 1 or 2 accounts will suffice).

Also getting 711 to bend the rules for me would open a can of worms for him that i am sure he would rather not deal with so I doubt that is an option. But I can ask. or I can direct him to this thread to give us an answer.

Also opening up an additional 500k shares now would not devalue the current shares at all since there is 0 ped value in the fund so far. It would double the efd earning ability of the fund without affecting the current fund value.

well personally i'm against expanding ;-)

because now i have 2% +/- but if you grow the fund to 1mil i'd only have 1% of the money we potentially make...

i'm also quite sure it will take a long time to get it started with 500k or with 1mil don't know if it will make that much difference.
but if we have devoted members things can go fast..

annyway these are just my toughts

If you have 2% of the shares of 500K that is 10K shares.
If you have 1% of the shares of 1Million that is 10K shares.

If you have 500K shares outstanding(let us not count the reserve shares issue for this example), that is 5,000 EFDs interest per month for all the share holders. Your 2% share of this is 100 EFDs.

If you have 1Million shares outstanding(let us not count the reserve shares issue for this example), that is 10,000 EFDS interest per month for all share holders. Your 1% share of this is 100 EFDs.

The only thing that changes is that your total ownership of the number of shares outstanding goes down, but your earning ratio stays the same.

With more shares the earnings potential increases as there is more PEDs or items to buy/sell. The amount of your PED stake in the PED container will be greater.

Just my opinion. Would be interested to see what the other shareholders have to say.

damn this is gonna be hard to explain what i mean :-p gonna give it a try.

agreed that you will earn double the efd in the beginning,

but once the efd become less important and the peds that you made with all the efd selling and trading and alot of help from the investors i think...

you will end up with 1% of the ped value in stead of 2

so the only thing getting another 500k shares would do is get to the ped amount faster but leave everyone with a smaller share of the peds earned

i want to hear from more people as i myself would loose % stake in the claim and have no way to come up with more efd other the the ~70 some odd i have in my checking balance right now.

so far two users that have been here far longer then myself have suggested against expanding.
