ok i've updated the vote results after a few shares were transfered this morning.

i've also updated the share holder list to show the current in game ped value. make sure you also account for the current EFD value (base ~250efd=1ped).

the last few days have been a bit slower but i expect things to pick up over the weekend. i've got a line of items thats been sold to me to sell to the fund as the fund can afford them. but as always if any share holders have something in their storage they want to sell give me a pm.

I check this thread on a regular basis, but not a daily basis.

I imagine other members do the same. Correct me if i am wrong.

As it now seems likely that a second batch of shares will be released, how do we plan to go about it?

I don't want to find out that 5 mins after I post this the second batch of shares was released and that they all sold before I checked again 36 hours later.

My personal opinion would be to post the release of the second set of 500k as follows:
1. For the first 7 days, only existing members can buy new shares, up to the number of shares they already own.
2. If there are any shares left after the first week, they are available to existing members, on a first come first served basis, for one more week.
3. Any shares still unsold are available to non-members, first come, first served.

Should you disagree with this, or wish to suggest a better method, please do.

your line of thinking on this is exactly the same as mine dorsai with the one exception that before any shares are released we will need to select at least one Trustee.. So far you and Netstalker are the only ones that have shown any kind of interest in this position.

So:
1. Select Trustee(s).

2. 1st Draft Open for 2 Weeks to allow all share holders to match current holdings (times the amount of new trustee(s)). (anything above match will be rolled into 2nd draft).

3. 2nd Draft Open for 2 Weeks to allow all share holders to take up available shares first come first serve.

4. 3rd Draft Open to public until all shares are sold.

.....

The other option is to have shares available at EFD+PED. currently the math works out to ~25EFD+1PEC per 25 shares.

I was starting for the assumption that a trustee had to be picked. There is no choice there. One (or more) has to be chosen. The interest system gives no choice.

Perhaps let EFD for new shares be donated to the trustee of choice of the share-holder? (out of the two of us?)??

Whatever, I will go with the vote. Should Netstalker get the trustee vote, he will get my EFD.

Well i'm also considering just going to 1.5 and selecting both you and netstalker since there has been no other nominations. still mulling it over on how i would go about it. right now thats just an option in my head. - ; )

But.. all the efd needs to come into my checking account first so that I can properly track it and get it assigned to the correct names. it would be hellish for the new trustee's to have to track all that information and report it all back to me.. and too confusing to everyone involved. where as I already have a system in place to quickly assign new shares to new efd donations.

Edit: Note any share holders that have 1% or higher currently may nominate themselves as a trustee.. please do so if you feel so inclined.

ok i think i under stand how this works now... perhaps you could answer a few quick questions just to make it 100% clear.

how much does one share cost in EFD, or does this price move up and down if so were can i find the current cost.

im not really sure atm whats in this for me, im sure you have made it clear but im still a bit unsure please enlighten me.

Well originally each share was 1EFD per share since that time the value of each share has increased to 1.02661998EFD+0.00043298PED. Even though that number looks a little daunting really it isn't. if we carry the decimal point to 10k shares. then we get 10k shares = ~10.26kEFD+4.32PED. There have been a few share holders who have sold shares at a cost higher then the current face value but that is up to the buyer/seller to decide.

As for new shares we are still not 100% decided on how that will look.

As for whats in it for you? (or share holders / prospective share holders)
Eventually I hope to grow the ped value (in game) of the shares past the ped value of the EFD.

ahhh ic, this sounds like a very promising investment in the long run and even if its not it will still be a lot of fun participating in some thing of this kind.
i do hope u do sell off more shares in the future because i will definitly be buying some
