The Dollar falls like a rock, will MA cope?

As the Dollar today hit a new all time low, 5,96 swedish crown per dollar, it's a golden oppertunity to deposit money into Entropia.
But as MA guarantees 10 ped to the Dollar, can they cope in the long run if this becomes a draged out affair?

MA already did with several new taxes etc.


Or why do you think they introduced Tax on putting on clothes or armor?


Seams to me the same game as with the gas price.


Allways they blamed other factors like higher dollar, war etc. to be the reason for it to go up.


But lower value of dollar or ended wars never let the price come down to the level bevor.

I think same happened to EU.

New fees and taxes introduced, 7th armor part or what ever else and this all while dollar was going down and down and down and no end in sight as long as USA spends more than 10 billion US$ a month for Mr. Bush's wars in Iran or Afganistan

Yes, i've been thinking the same thing for quite a while.

I think its time to switch to euro, only the exchangerate must be fixed on dolar and not euro.

So you wont get 10 ped for 1 euro but still 14 or something, and then let it be calcutated via the euro's rate.

I really think that MA is having a close look at the current exchange rate for US dollar and that if the fall was really affecting them they would already made the switch to Euro.

Now on a player point of view i don't see any benefit of changing the link PED/USD. For US player 100 USD deposited into the game will always be worth 100 USD for Non-US those 100 USD are worth less and less with time and it is good for them as they still can deposit the same amount of peds but for cheap.

My monthly spending budget in EU has decreased in the last few months not because i deposit less peds but because those peds cost me a lot less than before.

So i am quite happy with the current USD exchange rate.

The switch to PED/EURO will only benefit a very small amount of players being Non-Us players having regular PED withdrawal those ones are already profiting from this game and i think they can cope with a small reduction of their profit due to current rate of the USD
