well aside from the fact that we already have teleports in the game for our avatars...

I'm talking about how the economy is working right now.. as stated in lots of other threads the resellers go shopping for you and place everything on the auction at higher prices then they paid originally in the shop...

which is pretty much backwards of how a real cash economy works... with real cash i can't get something instantly by clicking on it online.. i have to get up off my ass and drive down to the local wally world and pay for it.. then i've got my grubby hands on it instantly.

and if we say.. well you still have to walk your avatar down to the local auction house.. thats like saying.. well sorry.. MA has a monopoly and bought up Auc*Mart, EntropiaBay and the Enterprise(tm).. to become the biggest chain of instant shop's in entropia universe... why then even have local shops if MA already owns the biggest chain of instant gratification shops in the universe? and has free instant teleport service to boot? sure the auction tax helps a bit.. but surely something should be done to reverse the current situation of resellers buying out the good deals in the mall only to hike the prices at your local Auc*Mart.

MindArk essentially owns the largest conglomerate shop in the game.. its like if Walmart purchased Ebay and then discovered a way to instantly teleport goods to locations all over the planet.

there's also a charge to put anything on the auction so your comparison to CND is quite right.. it just costs a bit more to buy something from CND.. it is already applied that way everywhere..

You have a point.

But not everyone is like me and loves to walk through the malls, in the world of "i want it now" the auction is good for them...the bad thing is the resellers don't mind walking through the malls and finding the good buys to jack up the price on auctions with.

I try to go to the malls and shops at least once a week to find things i need. It never fails you can find things below market. But it gets harder and harder to find these good buys.

This isn't real life, in real life you have to wait for items to be delivered and have to pay by weight because they're real items with mass and weight.

Ok one example , itunes , in fact any media now is delivered or can be instantaneously over the internet. So there, thats our real life world delivering stuff in seconds!

Your playing a fcuking game were everything is virtual , no weight , no mass , just some 000111000111 on a server ffs. So why would/should anyone payfor/wait for tne things you mention. Surely that's just one of the convieniences of being in a VR world, that you don't have to wait?

Honestly, it's plain dumb. Other than forcing people to use the shops that are mostly full of crap that gets thrown in TT anyways. Obviously not all shops are like this, there are people who run and maintain theirs properly but, they already are turning over items and making money?
