YES, I do deposit, I have put in around $800- $1000 US, but I also like to help out players who are only just starting, as Daz said. I buy sweat off any of my disciples, usually @ 10 ped per k..
I use quite a bit of ME, with TP's, Healing and focussing new players learnig to sweat and nerveblast.

I like the idea of the levels being involved for the different colours of sweat collecting, which is exactly why I opened the post as I did, to work with what I was given and to get more ideas, change it, modify it, whatever.. Try to find something interesting..

I will give the same response I always do. This is possibly the worst idea in the history of EU related bad ideas. Sweat is worth what its worth because those of us who buy it say it is. This is supply and demand in its simplest form. Most of us do not want the new players who do not deposit to stay in the game. All they are is a drain on those of us who deposit heavily and regularly for our enjoyment. If you ask me sweat should be loot when killing animals and new players should get NOTHING for free.

A good portion of us get sick and tired of listening to this crap. Why the hell should someone get even more free money when people like myself and TONS of others have deposited well over $10,000.00 US in this game over the past years?

I deposit heavily because I enjoy the game very much. I think what hurts this game more than anything are the leeches who think they should be entitled to even MORE free money.

When you grandparents gave you $20.00 for christmas when you were a kid did you walk up to them and say "Hey cheap ass give me more free money!!"? Of course not you were happy that you had $20.00 more than you did when you arrived. Plain and simple who gives a damn what the sweaters think they are "entitled" to. As far as I am concerned the sweat should be looted from hunting, or you should have to deposit $10.00 to even open an account, or they should wipe out the whole free money idea all together.

I don't mean to sound angry because I am really not, it is just frustrating to hear people bitch that some group does not get enough free money. Go mow lawns or throw newspapers and deposit the money if you hate the amount of free money that I and all the other depositers are giving you.

The current price of sweat, if your lucky, is .55. Its been to a point where people buy at .45. Yes, your father tried, but what Drooe is doing, is he is building on some facts, and getting a base of support for it.

If we just stop the bludgening from the get go, give it some thought (rather than, oh here we go, another sweat thread) and act on this, then maybe the differences could build up to actually make a change.

If we introduce the different levels of sweat, (maybe even make sweating an inverse to what Drooe said, flip it so that the more expensive sweat comes first to a certain level, and then cannot be collected? That way, ubers cant go get the high priced sweat, and make more money than they are already, new people get a decent start, and so on. And because of the heresy thats going to happen about how people start, there will be a constant influx of people who may deposit, and the higher price sweat will continue in circulation - I can guarantee there will be something I missed that someone will pick up on that will be this idea's downfall lol)

Sorry, this is way off topic, but you pay your taxes, right? A percentage of what you earn is taken to go into government. A percentage of what you use to play here goes to creating a way for new people to start. Same difference.

The new people "drain" from what you put in? Thats harsh. These new people are your source of getting ME. Do you sweat and mine to make your own ME? Now, if you do, good luck with that. But knock off all the new people, and you got yourself up sh*t creek without a paddle. They are the constant supply of your sweat for ME. So see them as people who try, because they are trying their hardest to get somewhere, anywhere.

You want sweat in loots? Hmm, lets see, what will that do? Raise the price. You kill an exarosaur young, you get 21 bottles. You sweat it, get about 50-60, and then loot, if any. The minimised amount of sweat will raise the price. If you increase the amount in loots, then everyone will have a WAAAYYY to easy way to get money, because they are looting both sweat and loot. Watch as the people who hunt for hours on end, with 200k ammo, walk into PA, selling 100k+ sweat. Who will even BUY that amount? Think of the negative influx of such things. You will have a surplus of sweat, and not enough people mining FN to make ME. Then what would you do, hunt after hunt, collecting these copious amounts? Do you just tt them? Or stop hunting and try to sell the crazy amounts collected?

There are alot more negatives that blow the positives way out of proportion with this idea.

No neg reps, as I see where your coming from, but dont flame on all the new people. They try as hard, if not harder, to maintain some income. They dont have the 10kUSD to deposit to go buy themselves all the uber armours/weapons, to buy all the chips, to buy the materials/tools. Give 'em a chance, ai?

Ok I know this discussion is like 100 years old BUT I finally found the ultimate solution: what if we harass every other sweater we meet! Like bringing mob trains to Neas and Swamp Camp or blocking their shots if they try to kill a mob after it is dry!

I think Kaiser's idea about sweat in loot is a good idea but yeah, everything needs to be balanced If you think 21 bottles of sweat for killing a small mob is small, well, I think I would get quite some good money on that amount like when I startet skilling longblades and bought a bunch of tt swords and killed daikibas, I would have a pretty high amount of sweat after that
back to topic I agree with Kaiser, nothing should be free in Entropia, it's just not fair, but it could be other ways to show the newcommers around, and as mentioned, by just going to www.entropiauniverse.com they would find loads of information, screenshots etc. I'm sure you find ten times more information about Entropia, than you could find from many other games. Still you say that noone would deposit 10$ in Entropia, but go buy a game for 20$ in a store?

But don't get me the wrong way here, I spend a lot of time helping newcommers, I do go sweating with them, I use hours telling them about the game, take them with me on hunts, gave some of them sove Vivo's and yeah, I actually give away many peds, and I know that is against what I say here, but this is because I know we need the newcommers, we need more people in our community but since free things is the only way to hold them here long enough to deposit.. Well, then that's the way we have to do it, even if I think it's wrong..

And the worst thing I know about in Entropia, is newcommers and resellers whining because of the low prices on sweat and other free stuff
It's the ones who deposit money in Entropia that should get good prices, not the non-depositers who is taking they're $'s..

I'm sorry I do not agree with you. To be honest, I do not mind at all if sweat prices go up. Secondly though there is no guarantee that prices will go up. you are assuming Ma woud not compensate the qty that drops for the single kill versus multiple sweat attempts. I firmly stand by my statement "Nothing in Entorpia should be free". Your tax example does not really fit here imho. I have no problem giving them a chance at all. I have a problem with is them getting a FREE chance.

Also again with the sweat surplus, I never said anywhere you would loot it in every loot. And you act like if you have 100k sweat you can only sell it in a 100k block. As for who would buy 100,000 sweat I have bought more than that a number of times. You forget, MA not nature has control of what drops for who when and in what quantity. The "blance" would be VERY simple to keep.

Sweaters indeed serve a purpose in the currently FLAWED system.

Sweaters do NOT make much money for MA and us depositers do. It seems they should be more worried about keeping us happy than the people who are in it for the free money.

Don't get me wrong here. I help out new players all the time. I give them free stuff, run contests and many other things to help them out. the big difference here is I do that by CHOICE!! Neither myself or anyone else has any CHOICE when MA gives free sweat, fruit, poop, etc. to players.

Someone said most people would not pay $10.00 to open an account. I think this is ridiculously untrue. People go out and pay 50-150 for games they have only read about and have never actually seen or played. Lets face it we have ALL done that.

Anyway sorry for the off topic.
