Glad I bought a104's when I did.

Also glad I kept an a101, a102 and an a103, even though I thought I would no longer need them, as I had now got a few a104's.

Sad I sold 3 a101's to a soc mate for tt, 2 days before they stopped dropping.
I looted all 3, in 15 mins, off berry, when they were TT+0, common as shit.

I've tt'd so many of those amps in the past because needed PEDs fast and nobody was buying.

Only ones that were worth having were A104's and they were only +20 or so.

I also tt'd a set of clothes from the Hadesheim tailor (one of each item in F) about 2-3 days before the VU where they closed it thinking I can always buy them back again.

Oh well, they were only 5ped each....

A101 - A103s especially will continue to get more scarce as players quit and leave them in storage, for them to be TT'd when their accounts are wiped.

It really complicates things from a balancing perspective. The new (L) amps aren't nearly as eco, nor are BLP or melee weapons. Without the A-series amps, the majority of hunters would be at about the same economy, and thus less general disgruntlement. The way i would deal with this if i were MA is to secretly buy back a lot of the amps (maybe with the proceeds of a few high damage but less eco new amps they could auction off), and increase the level of mobs and new weapons (and amps) to eventually marginalize the old stuff.

If the average HP and regen of mobs was twice what it is now, the A-series would be less relevant. Doubly so if there were bigger unlimited Shear amps dropping now and then.

I've pasted in the current orders for laser amps below. As you can see, the prices at least for A103's are still being pushed higher. The order system can be easily used to keep on bumping up the price of an item.

I agree that people will pay what they believe an item is worth (and in this case, I'm guessing A103's have a way to go). However, by having an order system for non-stackables, the game makes it easier for people to push up the price quickly.

So to sum up what is the general feeling: no more A series drops so the price will keep slowly grinding up or people use L amps more or people say screw the amps or what?

Let us forget for a second the A106 and 105 and focus on the 102, 103 and 104.

a103 is now more than tt+80 (was tt+30 in January!!)
a104 tt+400 o.O (was tt+150 in January !!!)

Price Increase = 300% ?! (in 4 months!) and its unstopable
