Lol, manipulations that tries to bring prices of items down generally are not manipulations xD

You know everyone with a mind would be jumping on your ML-35 if you listed it for that price, right?
You know there are 10s of resellers refreshing every 5 seconds the "Last Offers" window, right?

In that scenario though a person could put in a buy order for an ML35 for 2.4K then the seller would sell it and instant BO, there would be no chance of a reseller or other person obtaining it if the order system was used that way.

My point is its easy to do fake sells to both decrease or increase prices.

Its done everyday by lots of player and yes theres both reason to do it. We all know ML price was faked to 20k and if some dumb ppl dont know it yet then the fake sell at low price just trying to light you up guys.

And im pretty sure the seller still own the item, who care about ppl refreshing, he got the item back for sure!

True, but this seems like a "one-zero" mistake and not an attempt of manipulation, since a 24K buyout is a likely reseller buyout price.

Very true and my initial thought. My post was in regards to a post stating that it could not be market manipulation because someone else would snatch it up for the lower price and the manipulator would be out the weapon.

The order system would be very useful for this type of manipulation, most people don't think of this auction option.

The one listed for 25k in auction was posted before the unfortunate sale of the 2.4k one, if looking at the time of sale of the latter, and post time of the former. I'd rather guess it was the one listed for 20k BO in selling section on EF, which was posted at about the apropriate time...
