When does it get eco to use an amp

Your calculations assume you buy the m4a (or other L weapon) at tt price.

If you have to pay a markup then the amp pays for itself faster as the difference in the eco of the gun and the eco of the amp is greater due to the markup you pay for the gun. The bigger the markup u pay, the faster the amp pays for itself.

As soon as you add the amp, you become more eco.

As long as you are not using (L) or crafted amps, the question "how long does it take to pay for the amp" is irrelevant.

Non-(L) looted only amps do not drop any more (or not enough to matter).

Hence the value of the amp won't fall, and will almost certainly rise. (unless MA make a major change, and the last one, the amp nerf drove the price up!)

The amp "will pay for it self" as soon as you sell it.

ok, I get alot of answers about why the amp pays for itself straight away when you sell it back.

The prices go up all the time right now and for a non depositor or someone with a small budget might soon not afford any or maby ony one amp to use.
MA has nerfed amps before, for what reason I dont know, and they might nerf these amps again and introduce new ones.

I am not trying to claim that this will hapend, I was mainly calculating for my own reasons how long I would have to have an amp before it has paid for its (now) rather large markup incase something would happend.

There has to be some reason for MA to taking away the amps from the loot, so I would not be supriced if they got nerfed again.

Then again, I must admit that I was typing alittle faster than I was thinking when I made the Titel of the thread "when does it get eco", I should of course have written "when does the improved eco of the amp pay for todays markup".
