Well, with everyone talking bad about the amount of time it takes for a process...this is mainly because of one thing....scammers and thieves...

Lets say you lose your wallet...someone claims it and liberates your 3 credit cards. He goes and deposits $5,000 into entopia, and then waiting an hour, instantly pulls it out into a bank account. Where he proceeds to cash it out and close the account...

Now....if you were the person who got robbed...how would you feel?

By waiting, MA makes sure that nothing funny is happening with credit cards being stolen, etc.

Please dont flame me now....I dont have my flame proof suit on yet.

It's the same account they let me deposit thousands of dollars from instantly, makes no sense for it to take so long to get it back.
And yes i would rather have instant payments both in and out, I have fraud protection for a reason.

Marco, thanks for the reply, I know its your bank and not the company but the company could do something about the bank.
My bank had a good laugh about the fee and the processing time.
I got my withdrawal, I'm impressed that the second attempt came through within a week, i figured it would take more months. +rep to that i suppose.

All in all my 4500 ped turned into $336.00 USD.

The information was not "invalid" On the withdrawal screen it asks for a routing number and thats what i gave. My bank had to tell me it was supposed to be an overseas wire transfer routing number which is different.

I think more information should be added to the UI for deposits/withdrawals in the areas that require very specific data to be entered to save a hassle for people that don't do wires often, if ever.

My thoughts exactly, when i first saw the withdrawl screen i was like wtf . So i decided to email my bank the info that was needed and they directed me on what to fill out. That withdrawl took less then two weeks. But whats weird is i did another smaller one and its going on a month now. So very dynamic indeed. Good thing i did the big withdrawl first lol

Tamm, just to clarify a little bit for you. If someone lost a wallet with 3 cc's in it, the most the person who found it could deposit would be $200usd. There is a 2 cc limit and it takes a month to validate the card(s). That is built in protection in itself. As far as withdrawal goes, a faster process would be nice. 1 week and counting

FYI- I decided to write a support case about this fee and to check that they had the correct info, here is the response..

Hi,
Thank you for your message. Yes, this is correct. If the withdrawal is returned to us due to incorrect bank details, Mindark's bank (Handelsbanken) takes a penalty fee of 500 SEK (ca. 84 USD). This amount is deducted from the participantīs withdrawal as it is the participant's responsibility to provide the right information for the bank transfer.

We have the following bank information for your withdrawal:
Name of the Bank: XXXXXXXXX
Iban code: XXXXXXXXXXX
Street: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
Zip Code: XX XXXXX
City: XXXXXXXXXX
Country: United States of America
Swift/Bic/Routing: XXXXXXX

Please, note that the bank account holder's name should be the same as the Entropia Universe's account holder's name. Please, do not hesitate to contact us again if you have further questions about this.
Kind regards,
Entropia Support
