Did anyone just notice that amp 101,102, 03, 04......... just went up in price, its kind of a serious matter in terms of where the economy is heading. I mean like a month ago I brought a a103 for tt+35 and that was like a normal price, maybe even a little to high for it at the time, but a a few weeks after that a103 is now going for about tt+150 and its over 100 plus sales on those prices. The same is with a101 which was about tt+50 maybe and now its around tt+100. If you ask me its serious inflation in terms of how the economy is concerned. Were not Zimbabwe here or something where a $125 is like 50million dollars there and the majority of the world are millionaires or even billionaires to them.
Prehaps one issue is that we have to many resellers starting to pop in who want to make somemoney over this. I don't think the current way of auction prices is going to work. The way the market price shows of auction sales is easily changed by a high sale and when a lot of high sales are made the majority of eu are like sheep they all follow the trend. Well really common sense that if the price is rising then everyone wants maximum price for there items. It seems the more time passes Entropia is getting more and more inflated, but this issue will never annoy MA because the more money you have to pay for an item the more you have to deposit. Theres alot more examples of inflation that has happened and is continuing to happen and I think all players who have played for a reasonable amount of time will realise this is a issue for the game ever since it started and as time passes it just gets higher. Uber items are a good example for all this. I think there is something that really has to be done interms of how it effects anyone else who wants to play a decent game not live a second life. |

a10x amps have been a talking point on this forum since they stopped dropping. i don't agree with the price of the them but it is definitely caused in part by resellers. some players that actually want a amp buy them, but mostly they seem to be passed around repeatedly.

I think alot of the sales are to people who are going to use them.
I do believe that some inflation is fine in game, especially for the uber items, howver MA should really look that lower end items don't become overly expensive. I remember when I first started 20 ped seemed alot to pay for an A101 and I'm sure it is the same for someone new to EU now who wants to bump the power of their opalo. A101's should drop regularly. |

In terms of all the other weapons in the game, the A-series amps are extremely unbalanced. By reducing the drop rate to a mere trickle and letting the resellers price them out of the range of a lot of players, it might level the playing field finally for melee hunters and BLP.
Even without an amp or with an E-Amp 11 (which has better eco than the (L) amps if they have any markup), a good number of laser SIB (L) weapons are substantially more economical than other classes of SIB weapons. With an A-series amp it's not even close. I am a bit puzzled why the (L) amps are such a poor option. I think we'll be seeing better (L) amps and unlimited BPs for them soon, to take up the slack. In the absence of that, the most basic E-amp has an eco over 4.0 and the same damage as the A102. That may become the new A102 for the next generation. |

If you are trying to sell something at a high price and no one buys it eventually you will have to drop the price to unload it. It's as simple as that.
