Question: Is PEauction dead?

Peauction hasn't been updated with any info since April 13 (almost a month now)

Has the system died? What's the story?

Some may not care, saying that we now have ingame order history, however PEauction is indispensable

It's our main source of market info when not ingame
It shows prices not counting buyout, which makes a huge difference on many items.
It's the economic source for Entropedia, the Chipping Optimizer, and many other useful sites.
I (and others) use it to set prices for items listed for sale here on EF.

HELP!!!

All I can say is that I'm working on one myself

It probably wont have all the nice charts at first, but hopefully we can get some prices out of it.

Suggestion: petition MA to make market information available outside of game. EU's big selling point is that its an RCE; it shouldn't require screen scraping (what PEAuction has to do to get data about sales) to develop 3rd-party market analysis tools!

I'm going to open a support case about it. I also PMed smoothee about PEAuction, asking if he could comment about its future here.

As some of you may know I'm mod on the PEBoard which is part of PEAuction. As far as I know this is just temporary and due to changes which are going to happen in near future. Maintenance of PEAuction in it's current form is on hold. For details please visit the PEAuction forum.

MA has been asked many times for this and hasn't done it yet. I can't see why they'd do it now, nor any time in the near future (meaning for years).

I was not aware it was having problems, have not been watching it. I will jump and see why it is not doing what it should.

We will get it back updating as soon as possible. Sorry about the problems.

Yup. I've been detained lately with other RL stuff and have not been checking it. The DB had a stupid checksum issue and that caused the script that gathers info to go down. Anyhow this is fixed and I've put some checkers in there to make sure it doesn't happen again.
