Question: Are you a "Saver" or a "Spender"?

So since Entropia Universe has a Real Cash Economy™ I was wondering if players used any sort of Investment/Saving strategy in EU or do most just deposit (or sweat their buns off ) and spend it on whatever tickles their fancy?

If you have any tips on budgets, investments, etc. please share them.

yep bums and also people that plays the game without paying for it.

Like the guy that gets a quarter from a bypasser, then uses it on a slot machine and gets a minijackpot and keeps going till its gone, where he goes back to finding ways to leech from the system to keep playing for free.

I tend to stock pile loot in storage and only sell when I can squeeze some profit over TT value from it in auction.

Saver: I save everything with markup I can sell for even a few pec profit.
Spender: I piss said pec away fast than you can say Damn the Dancing Monkeys.
Collector: I have a nice armor, tool and gun collection growing as well as skulls, furniture and other decorations.


What I do is try to "lock up" as much as I can for the long haul and invest in a few items with good markup when I can, like mining tools. Not much but it guarantees me should I ever decide to stop playing and sell out I will walk away with something for my time

I'm abit of both i guess in the sense that i spend alot on EU but since i've started playing EU i've actually save alot more money then i was doing no playing, in the sense that if i was to withdraw i would now have more money then if i was to spend the cash outside of EU and not play

Everything I loot I keep. Even if the markup is 100.5%, I save it. Not because it's worth auctioning but because I can save up the value till I need peds. Recently needed money for a purchase, and had the 200 peds needed easily in one stack of tt fodder robot parts.
Every depo I make I add 10% to a stack in storage, towards getting my next intended purchase. This purchase intended to be an item that will be of use to me, and at the same time (Hopefully) hold it's value, or increase.

I also own a booth, and the profit from the sales goes on to the saving stack too.

The first two strategies saved up the peds for the booth. Currently working towards a shop keeper. A while to go yet, but should be there before the end of the year.

SO in a way I am saver, but I spend what on my card far too fast.

I`m a little of both. But in EU I`m afraid I am mostly just a spender. I try to save but the damn ped runs out too fast so stuff just ends up going into the tt. Sure I have reinvested profit into armor and gear but it`s the little stuff, the tt fodder that kills me. I`m sure I could save up enough to actually get the miniscule markup and make a few pec. But rather than deposit alot more just to save a little I tt it eventually. Those extractors and stuff are a pain in the ass. The more low markup and low value stuff they introduce the harder it is to save, collect markup and get ahead unless you have a good backing of ped that keeps you from having to liquidate all the time. Just too many little items to have sitting idle.

saver. i can't bring myself to tt anything. i even store up oils. when they first started dropping i would sell 'em right away, but i have since began to accumulate everything to vary my playstyle. i save all the ammo and (L) guns i get that are not my primary hunting style and when i run out of liquid funds i pull out all the stored ammo and weapons and use them til they are gone. by that time things i set aside to sell (oils, hides, etc) have giving me ped to continue.
