Question: Are you a "Saver" or a "Spender"?

My Grandparents taught me many valuable lessons. Probably the most valuable lesson of all was given in the form of a saying:

"The size of your paycheck is not important, its what you do with it that will decide if you become wealthy or not."

Another of their favorite sayings was: "Spenders spend, but Savers win."

So since Entropia Universe has a Real Cash Economy™ I was wondering if players used any sort of Investment/Saving strategy in EU or do most just deposit (or sweat their buns off ) and spend it on whatever tickles their fancy?

If you have any tips on budgets, investments, etc. please share them.

I would say that if you don't TT anything which you can aggregate for some markup (e.g. animal hides) then you do have some saver tendencies about you.

If you TT everything right away then you are definitely in the spender category.

That was one of the first "saver" things I learned in the game. Check the MU and if it is above X% then stow it and list it on Auction once you get enough to pay for the fees and still make a profit.

Another excellent "tip" i got from right here on EF is being that I have taken up hunting and am using laser weaps is to invest NOW in A10"X" AMPS because they are climbing in price rapidly!

Already the AMPs I have bought have on average increased in price nearly 10%. I know such is risky because MA could come out with new Uberer AMPs or Nerf the ones I have but that is the nature of such speculation.

except on tailoring stuff...that i hord and will eventually be a huge success in crafting...ummm after my mining luck runs out..maybe...

Leecher?

As in bums?

I know other games have skads of Bummers begging for credits, gold etc. but I can't imagine it being very successful in this game, or aim I misunderstanding you?
