Question: Price drop on A101- A103 Amps Is this due to...

I am looking for info on the following, I've been asking in other threads but none have answered so....

The recent Price drop on A101 A102 and A103 Omegatron Amps (Energy Amps for Guns) is this due to:

1. Increased supply from recent VU change.
2. The Recent Mass account lock (Paynova Incident)
3. The Yearly Summer Time sell-off.
4. Other

However, my gut reaction is very simple. Price drop is a direct result of people paying less.

Prices are just reverting back to normal.


The recent massive increase was soley due to reselling and a little panic. That boom reached its peak, and prices started to fall back to normal.

Current supply/demand isn't at the point to create such high prices on them, yet...

OK, so what stopped the panic and the reselling? Did some of these resellers sell-out and quit? (Or get banned?)

Has there been a price drop? Didn't notice, don't really care. However...


1) Can't imagine that. I used to loot tons of them in the past. Haven't looted a single one since the new VU, and I've been camped out on one of the mobs that always used to loot them regularly. Furthermore, I haven't heard from anyone in my soc who has looted one in recent history, either.

2) A temp-lock for 2 days seriously effecting prices? Well, the way it sounds, virtually everyone's been unlocked or most likely will be soon. If prices go back up in a day or so, I guess you'll have your answer.

3) Summertime sell-off? Well, in truth, it is more likely a summertime lack of buyers. Probably not a significant increase in the number of sellers of anything, but people playing less and therefore not buying stuff as much.

4) People really like spending money for crappy (L) amps?

Supply > Demand would be my answer.


Once the prices got as high as they did, fewer people were willing to buy them, and more people were tempted to sell the ones they had.
