Latest offers in auction

Does anyone ( ecept the beloved resellers ) use this.

If I am looking for something in the auc, I check the last call page, then I go to the propper section and look there.
The way I see it, latest offers page is mostly used by resellers, hitting update every 5 secs, grab the good deals, relist them immediately and probably causing some lag in the prosess.
I might be wrong, and lots of ppl using this page for something I just havent thought of yet
But I dont think so
So the question is, do we really need the latest offer section, or should it be removed, making the resellers work a little more for their peds ?
I am only talking about the latest offers page, not the last call page.

What do you think of this idea, good or bad ??

I don't think you need to be a reseller to try to get a good deal on something
A few times I've checked it and got an item at a great price. I've never bought anything that way to turn around and sell it right away.

It has its purpose. Resellers will always be present in the game. I really don't think they do any harm unless they're manipulating. If people didn't pay the prices they jack them up to, the resellers would be out of business pretty quickly. Thats a whole different thread tho and many on the subject.

but my idea is that the chance of getting a good deal would be better if the lastest offers page was removed, since the auc stalker then wouldnt be abel to get all of them 10 secs after they are listed.

Its a good thing for sellers that it exists, because it increases the chance the item sells for at least startbid.

And you should never list your items for less SB then you want to sell it for

Its also a good thing for all buyers, not only resellers, because as noted above, if you routinely check it, you might get some good deals

And about the latest offers, think about it from the sellers point of view... Then its pretty nice too.

And I really don't see that much of intense auctionstalking... sometimes I grab stuff with a BO a fair bit below market index, half an hour or more after they have been listed.

When I need a weapon or tool that isn't auctioned at that moment, I usually sit at the latest offers page for a while to see if it turns up...
