Untill it is proven not to be market fluctuations, there is no reason to panic.
If everyone else panics, the prices will fall, the ubers will buy everything, after that, the prices will rise again, and you will buy it back at 4x the value from resellers and others. Is that what u want to achieve with this thread?

Summer 2007 sucked completely for trading, this one seems to be headed just the same. Many players being from the nordic countries, eastern Europe, and the UK, this can be understood, so. Sun is to blame, maybe ladies with shorter armors also.

At the moment the lack of interesting items on sale is also blatant.

Well noob... the last thing you want for sure is having opportunistic players playing the buy and resell game... The margins taken by the regular traders/resellers are way less (rotating items is more important to us). Crazy margins, you find almost exclusively with the opportunistic type - just have a close look.

Btw, I can confirm there was almost nothing worth betting on from the morning to the late afternoon today. I competed for one object (which I didn't get) and that's it for today.

well as far as this game is concerned
The last people i listen to or even acknowledge when it comes to economy or how the game is going is not depositers.
If they knew what the hell they were doing they wouldnt be depositers.
They know nothing.

I do however have a network of non depositers some in each profession.

Let me just say its pretty much accepted the game has gotton much harder
Forced to buy all the L shit cuts into any chance of making profits or breaking even.
I still have a few k peds and a few k peds in items and skills so im not really worried but after the post where MA said we are aware mining is messed up and we are working to fix it, after i lost 3k in a week mining unamped
really makes me say, dont play until they fix it and thank god you didnt buy 105 amps and lose 1k ped in about an hour like someone i know.

Depositers do make the game go around so my only worry is that MA will demand to much from them and many will not quit but scale back

I do think if MA wasnt the only player on the block, if there was say 1 or 2 other RCE games to compete with, the nerfs and changes MA has made in the last few VU's from skill,amp nerf to switching to all L and it being very expensive , would be suicide for this game. But as long as it is a monopoly it can do whatever it wants.
The down side to "taking advantage" of players is when a new game comes out which one will eventually players loyalty will be very slight to stay .

I honestly think the thread starter is talking the 'What was' higher end L items

Things that were 250% like scorpius or LR59 rifles are now 210% due to the new LR63.

Prices are failing on certain iotems as they are being displaced and demoted by newer more powerful L items. This means crafters now cannot craft certain things as they are selling for less than it takes to click them.

Skills are dropping in price. Look at engineering

I personally think that the CND launch brought with it a mass of new players who weren't scared about putting their hand in their pockets and pulling out their credit card. Those players are either mid level now, or chipped up to be semi-uber in a top 10 soc etc. I call em the 60 agi ubers

With the testing being carried out by players now, eco has become a large factor in gaming. this never used to be the case really, although I still remember using my 105 on my opalo

more people have BPC then ever before
More people lose heavilly clicking 101 oreamp bp's meaning theres more skills available (look at price of attachment tech skill)

I guess times are changing, L items will continue to get stronger as MA need to remove the uber eco effects of the Korss 400, therefore what were the best L items, will drop down the pecking order and with it, lose value

PS - I don't think that mod fap and mm will drop in price anytime soon though, although I see in the next 2 years, the dam/sec element of the mm sliding further down the top 20 list. It will always be uber eco for 10/10 though.
