new way to use paypal and deposit

Hi all,

I hate to endorse paypal, as I think they charge a bit many fees, but they do seem reliable over the years and that is worth something. I got an email today about the new virtual credit card to use on any site even if they dont accept paypal. I am posting this because I have many new players with no options to deposit and this may be of some help for others.

You would not be able to put in more than the limit (5k?) because it's a new unactivated credit card. Also you could only deposit through the website and not through the game which is a big hassle.

...Or you could just register for a paypal debit card and use that anytime you want

well thank you for this thread, I am an American living in South Korea and I have no way to deposit, I have tired many different ways to deposit, I find this will be helpful.

Looks to me like it generates a new number each time, so I don't think you'd reach a limit. It would be a bit of a pain, but still interesting and possibly useful.

Use Secure Cards to shop anywhere online
Save and print your receipts
Enter addresses with 1 click during checkout
Avoid fraudulent websites
Check your balance right from your browser

The Secure Cards look like temporary debit card numbers you can generate.

EDIT: Doesn't look quite as good. Tried the plug-in and found you still need a bank account to be attached to generate a Secure Card. It would be almost as easy to get the debit card (as crazy said).

So yes, you need a verified account to use it but there's no point in using it if you have a verified account because you can just order a free paypal debit card that works the same way and is permanent.
