Question: Ingame Ads

Germany had no ads at all for a long time now. Since some weeks I can see a DVD ad for "I AM LEGEND". Woohoo xD

OP, it's just your location. Content for the out of place on Calypso commercial shite is locallized. The Americans in game currently are reminded that McDonalds has a piece of corn syrup filled cardboard that they call an apple pie on their value menu.

MA should give up on that and just make Combibo Cola ads rather than spoil the illusion.

It's really a shame that the companies are not willing to make ads that would fit in with the theme. As far as I'm concerned, they can plaster every city in the game with billboards, if they at least make them look like they belong in the timeperiod.

I think it would be much better to change the add system and have a seperate window with adds that opens up when u hunt mine or craft ....

It would contain the comercial and u can choose to close it upon opening or not have them open at all (disable adds) or leave it to play vixible on your screen (would be on top of all windows for the duration of the add) and after the add is done playing you would receive ... whatever money it was worth watching that comercial ... 11 pec ? i dunno

just for comparison last week 4 clicks on the google adds on my website (www.idosunrider.com) earned me 0.49$ ... so 1 click is around 0.12$ im not sure how navigating to producers website compares versus watching a 10 sec add say they pay 0.06$ ... but whatever it is wouldnt u like to get 60 pec to each of your loot for watching some crap while you run to the next mob ??

Rather then building up a ATH for one lucky individual ?...

But i hope that Entropia get mor ads with the cryengine update... so the loot will increase...would be great

I have never seen an ad, I think there are not implemented in France.

So I keep the "Ingame Ads" on, it gives me so much more loot
