What time of day is best for loot?

Following on from my recent thread Loot depends mainly on.............. I have noticed that a significant number of people consider certan 'times of day' to be better than others for loot.

Would this be due to the number online/ingame at any given time and if so would loot be better when there are fewer or more people ingame or does it depend on the amount of hamsters within the game engine at any given time or are they constant?

So........what time of day (MA time) do you consider is better for loot?

Oh dear you too and many others I fear so no time forgot that option. Sounds like EF is best place to be at the moment.

its dynamic :-) seriously though, its not fixed otherwise it would be too easy. but i agree with the above sentiment, i have caught a break at any time on any mob for a while now.

Simple answer - it's best when I'm not playing

j/k, there is no set time for good loot. I've hit good runs and bad runs in each profession at all different times of the day.

Time is important but it is impossible to say what hour is best for all.
I noticed that there are hours when some parts of Calypso seem more "active" and hours when some creatures loot better and hours when some resources drop more than others.
You can't name one hour for all.

I think each place and each mob/resource has it's own timing. To get a nice result you need to:
1. Be in a right place (means place which is more loot active than other)
2. Be doing the right thing (means if it is time for mining you need to be mining, if time for hunting you need to be hunting)
3. Be doing it with the right thing (when it is time for hunting drones and you kill atroxes you won't be lucky, when it is ore time and you are dropping probes it won't help)
4. Be in a right time circle for you (avatars also have better and unlucky times)

So if you need to make 4 components meet - your time, activity, target of activity and place of activity it makes no sense to try to do it by understanting. You can try to watch the global chat and hof list and see for example that there is no drone hof so some drone will hof soon and go and hunt them till they hof (or you loose all peds) but it seems kinda pointless...

I stopped thinking about it long time ago when I came to the conlusions above and went back to doing what I know most about - mining. Sometimes I seem to fulfill all those 4 requirements and then I hof. But even then I don't think about it, it just happens.
Same when I loose big time.....

Why not ask all this questions in one thread. As for what time is the best for loot that is just plain bullshit. We have seen ATH's around the clock.

On very busy times (lot's of people online) it maybe looks like the globals scrolling faster and more hof's are given. But there is no difference.

Look at the HOF lists. You will see a wide range of times.

That said I tend to do slightly better overall when I'm on around 0600 MA.

Typically, loots are best between 22:49:20 and 22:49:45. But it varies from day to day.
