If you deposit via direct bank tranfer then it is 1 USD = 10 PED exactly. The only problem is YOUR bank will charge you the over seas transaction fee. My bank wants to charge me $40 USD per overseas transaction.
$40 USD that's insane :/ But I think paynova works fine and I will probably try out Ukash sometime

It's set by your bank, yes. Or moreso the credit card companies. Which is why I don't bother with them. Also you will find that on the website (remembering it is your responsibility to read the info regarding deposits) it isstated there is transaction fees etc etc.

Mine likes to charge $20 USD (different country). I think it is reasonable as i can transfer up to ~$20k US a time. Maybe you could look into another bank that charges a lower rate for international transfer and set up an account there.

I guess you would be surprised to learn how much you're wrong on this ... the one thing finance people know very well is money, and how to move it around.

Take care,

Out of interest, how do you do a bank transfer deposit into EU? There's no option for it on Entropia.com as far as I can see...
