I know many hunters that would pay more then 15k to buy a ml35 to use as their hunting weapon. Even I value the ml35 over 15k since I payed alot more for it.

I think this comes down to what the definition of 'worth' is. SOmething can be a ppraised at 25k, that doesn't make it worth 25k. DOes the end use justify the cost?

"Oh but you can just resell it later for a higher price" is the standard line people seem to come up with when appraising already grossly overpirced items, like amps
"Oh, you aren't actually buying it for use - the savings of buying <a10x> might be minute, but you can resell it later! So it doesn't cost you anything!"

I wonder how many of these same people scream at others for reselling.

So what is the worth of a ml-35? And what is it appraised at? "Oh you can reduce a falx's health down to 75% before it gets to you! But at twice the cost!" I can do this with normal (L) weapons...in fact i can tank a falx young If I'm lucky (as long as it doesn't hit hard twice) with lr48.

I hunt chomper in team of two with p5. Me and a socmate can hunt just about anything with p5. If i wanted something a little harder hitting i have my LR's and cb's. As a team we agree to use similar damage weapons.

Yeah so you get less loot, less paramedic skills, less evade. You are, in effect, a far less efficient hunter than any short-range sane-minded hunter.

Buying skills and grossly overpriced equipment are completely different topics and one cannot be used to justify artificially pushing the price up on useless crap.

In short, the appraisal of an item like ML is it's resell value, not it's use. Items such as OA-105 unl (380k), modfap (420k) however pay for themselves (you cannot buy paramedic skills for 420k that would even come a whisker close to modfap healing ability, however you can buy evade which acts somewhat like doubling (tripling... etc) the worth of fap skills when high enough). So those resellers you see every week are just wetting their pants in glee every time. And of course those people who own the gorssly overpriced equipment -don't mind- and then refuse to sell for lower than they bought - so of course it will always look like the price is going up, it will always be appraised 'at the cost of purchase or higher", however the true worth of the item never went up.

man, im suprised to see the reaction here.

everyone thinks the prices on items are crazy.. but when someone was able to buy a gun way under the so called "market value" you think hes gonna resell it for 10k more of hes friend most be a stupid, rich or whatever to sell it that cheap? thats just a very odd behavior

I think its FANTASTIC he did a post about this.. and for all of you "market valuers" I guess this is the new market value for ML35..

its very wierd that items always increase in value and never goes down in value. So for ones, the economy within EU took a step forward..
