I havent depoed in over 1.5 months and still gets globals/hofs so thats not true about doing well only when depoing

I agree. I used to think that depo'ing meant globals, but soon realised that depo'ing just means you hunt for longer and harder than when you're short of PED, so of course you'll generally do better

I couldn't agree more. Though it is easy to spend the ped on your card on new gear, so it usually only lasts a few long hunts before it is squandered on shiny new stuff. When i learned that, i started to do better.

Well about dynamic aspect we cannot do a lot, but we can do a lot about skills and equipment. Of course how you well know just few people have huge skills and equipment. I think they deserve a good loot. They spend a lot of money to gain skills and equipment (well be an old EU player help a lot too), so it s correct that they have often globals, HOF, all time HOF, fantastic-exclusive items in their loot windows. All is fine for me. But the point is: they are stealing the loot of the other people? when a member of one of the most skilled soc get one global each 3 minutes what happened at the all day total loot? it s like they dry the loot? what you think about?

Hi Dr DC welcome to entropia. I won't beat a dead horse and repeat much of what people have said already in this thread. I just think alot of newer players, myself included, have fallen for this false thinking. Ubers aren't stealing our loot. Depositors don't have it "easy". I have seen pleanty of people get multipul globals and hofs. I used to ask why not me? Well it appears odds lie in what you hunt, perhaps how much something is hunted, and other factors. There is a reason you see atrox, ambu, hogglo, aluri global spam. Those mobs aren't cheap to hunt.

No offense to anyone that hunts new comer mobs they cost next to nothing to kill. So should the mobs global often? I really don't think so. But they do when the time is right. Take a look at the "rebalanced" combibo. They used to almost never global or hof. In this vu their globaling and hofing like crazy. I classify that as a new comer mob still because it is pretty low level. Is this something to help non uber new comers?

For the record I hunt low teir mobs for my level and don't hunt as big as I could. This vu changed alot of my hunting habbits. At first I was mad at ma, because I couldn't solo feffs,trox, etc without spending tons of money. I was alittle frustrated seeing people spam globals, but guess what I adapted and formed a new plan. I also came to this conclusion. Play your game not everyone elses. Sorry if I come off as rude. I just think it is silly to point the finger at another avatar for loots.

For me loot was quite poor when WoF teams were hunting. But even mining loot was poor then for me, so it could be just bad time for my ava.
Since EU is competition of skills and gear it can happen, that when someone with better skills comes to the area you are hunting, you will loose the loot. Happened to me once that I was team hunting troxes NW from Orthos and loot was ok, until some green dot showed up. But when I saw "cK" above that ava's head, it was quite obvious that we can't compete with such skills and killspeed. For the same reason I will not go hunting hogglos when I see Cobra globaling on them. I have seen him once with two youngs and it took him about the same time to kill both as I would need to kill two exas.
It happened to me that someone globalled in the same area I was. Probably I just lost the competition then. But I remember several situations when I was the one who took the loot.
It's hard to say that anyone steals others' loot. We could only say that we are all thieves. If we are lucky, someone else has to pay for it.
Still, I'm a bit pissed off with noob uber hofs and I think noobs are spoiled this days too

since EU is PvP and not PvMA, i would say yes. the higher skilled / geared players earn (part of) the money the lower skilled / geared players loose
i didnt vote tho, cause i dont think that could be titled as "stealing"

Are everyone else getting less loot in average than they would get if all the profiting ubers stopped hunting? Yes. Of course.
Far from all "ubers" are profiting hunting though. There are people that has played for as long as I have, had mod fap and imk2/mm and the skills to go with them and still kept loosing.

What your saying goes with what I ask when I see global spam. How much did they spend on the hunt? Overall are they profitable?

No is often the answer... I wish more people could understand this.
