Is it My bad luck?

Is it me or when someone has an event scheduled or a contest going on on their La does the loot get even Worse for those that go there not entered in these contests?

An example..I usually do REALLY well on Atrax beach. but every time an event is scheduled its like MA shuts loot off to save up for the event. As soon as the event is over it goes back to normal a day or so later.

I also notice this alot when they have events scheduled for LOL that LA with all the Trillos..Loot there ALWAYS sucks incredibly bad there for me but I do ok mining. I have yet in the past 9-10 months been mining there gotten a kill with more then 2 ped loot. They always have contests going or events scheduled there so that is why maybe?

I am hoping this is just a happen stance as I would HATE to think Atrax beach is going to be total shit for the next year with his contest going.

Any thoughts? or better yet any cures?

I doubt MA even realises there is an event going on at Atrax Beach atm And unfortunately i have very little influence on the loots at Atrax Beach.

Loot is sometimes good sometimes bad, I hope it'll soon be great for you again!

I think it's more a case of "you pay more attention".

No event, you just hunt, and loto is as it is.

You know an event is starting (coming soon), and you pay attention, and see that the loot is <whatever>.

Ah, you think, "the loot is <whatever> (no different from normal) it must be because There is an Event coming..."

I see it at work.

People turn up with their car, for it to be serviced. We service it, and notice a huge dent in the car. The dent is all rusty, and clearly several months old. The owner of the car returns for their car, and comes back from the car-park and askes us to look at the dent.

"This dent, here, (pointing) was not here when I left my car." they say.

We point out that the dent is at least 5 months old, if not more.
"But I never noticed it before" they say....

We say "you never looked before. You assumed we would damage your car so you had a good look when you collected it, and saw what you would have seen months ago, had you looked back then."
They argue, and we point out that the dent is "shaped like the corner of a supermarket trolley" and then they realise what happened....

OR words to the effect.

Like the bloke "you have walked on my roof!!"
us "Can you see foot prints?"
Him "yes"
Us "can you see the moss growing in the foot prints?"
Him "yes."
us. "how long does it take for moss to grow?"
Him "I take your point."
