as far as im concerned, in a market that is based around false scarcity of usful equipment, anyone who buys more quantity of items than they could use in order to either corner the market or maintain a target price is a manipulator or speculator, since they distort real demand. How many medium TP chips do you need for example?

so all i can say is lol at this thread. whats the matter, been caught without any ML35 to capitlise on this movement?

There is a huge difference between resellers and market manipulators.

A reseller buy an item, sometimes stock them up for a period of time, and sell it again for the price he ask. In this case te buyer affects market-history. He decide to buy it for that price.

A market manipulator buy an item, put it in auction for a price huge over market avg. and he (or 2nd ava/friend) buy's the same item from auction again. In this case the market manipulator affects market history.


You can like resellers or not, but there is a huge difference between resellers and manipulators.

U ppl, must start to change ur mind about Tzepu and some others.

Tzepu is not a manipulator. Sterling & Moss is not a soc who have vocation to manipulate market.

I understand that some players are pissed cause prices are too high, but then dont buy it.

I personaly did some good deals with Tzepu. He is hard, but damn, its his work. So u need to be hard too

How come everything is traders faults? All I hear on this forum is resellers and traders all suck. Do any of you even know anything about an economy? In order for a trader to profit it takes 2 parties and one has to be willing to buy the item. So in the end the real problem is the players.

If A105s cost tt+1000 a trader would buy at tt+900, if they cost tt+2k a trader buys at tt+1900. The only difference is one way the trader makes less money per ped put in. High prices on items in no way help traders (market manipulators are a whole nother thing). The people who cause high market prices are idiot players who go. O theres only one A105 on market at tt+1.9k BO and market price is tt+1.8k, it is close enough lets get it. This causes the next guy to buy at a higher price figuring the same thing. Also on that note the A105 prices were grossly manipulated and after the manipulator left people kept buying at the inflated prices. Given this maybe explaining why ML35 prices are so high is needed.
