(L) Vs. UL

Mixture for me too. I truly do like the hit ratio with (L) guns. However...

UL guns at least allow you to put a small amount of repair, grab 50 ped ammo and run out for a little fun run.

(L) guns, ya gotta spend 100 peds just for the gun, before you can even consider walking out into the forest.

UL equipment skills up more too.

ATM, counting markup, I can use t15/t20 cheaper than 2600, but I can't take a broke T15(L) and toss 20 peds into it. Also 2600 has better heal/sec over all.

Armor? All UL baby.

Mining equip? Well, face it (L) finders last for f*cking ever, and you just can't push OF/MF-105s as deep. Sure they hit 1000, but, unless the stats lie, (L) finders reach far deeper on avg. (Meaning has a greater chance of hitting high-markup ore/matter)

Personally, I want to do a "(L) in space" test. Full (L) gear up on CP and see what happens. Who's willing to finance this test if I pledge 100% of the loot to them?

I mix too.

I switched from Fap 110 to sk-50 to gain more skills abit back and never regret it. After I maxed the UR125 I have something I didnt have with the fap110 - fast and good healing and the markup could be worse.

I only use L-weapons for pvp - laser amp likewise.

Armor is mostly unlimited except pvp-armor ofc

But my weapons are unlimited. Short and long range. I like the look, I like the eco and I love the specs on them. And not to mention - I dont even bother standing at auction for 2 minutes looking for a new gun to be able to hunt.

That is defently one of the downsides about L-weapons. You have to browse through auction to be lucky to find the right weapon at the right price.

You dont with your unlimited gear. Just get ready and out hunting. End of story. And ofc just repair when you get back and you are ready to go again...

If more limited weapons were available I would probably switch to it - but as things are now I wont. I like the high dmg and ofc dont mind paying the price - but I dont want the damn market to control if I can hunt or not...

This is the kind of thing that would bring an ATH with X5 unlimited or something and omg it would suck to hand it all over from your own inventory

UL = buying a house.
(L) = renting a house.

sometimes you own a house but want to rent a holiday home for a bit of fun. sometimes you have to rent somthing because its too expensvie to buy the equivilent. but ultimatly, buying is better than renting.

Unlimited all the way.
Tried a few unlimited things and they dissapeared way to fast.
OK, i can agree with some ppl that say they serve a purpose for special occasions but for regular hardcore hunting they just sux imo.
If i can afford and can get my hands on UL weapon/armor/fap id go for it no doubt.

L weapons & L finder for now, the rest of my gear is UL.
I prefer UL so that's prolly what i'll go for when the time is right.

I'm using both L and unL stuff..

Mainly L for pk'ing, (armor, fap, weapons) as for hunting/mining i'm using unL stuff (only the ur125 is limited) and i'm fine with it !

Of Course i cant deny it these limited weapons/armor/fap offer a great alternative for those who cant afford and/or dont want to pay silly price for unL stuff !
