(L) Vs. UL

I am not able to vote, as I use some (L) gear, and some non (L) gear.

I find i get benefits from both.

I like SIB, but don't like "broken, need to get a new one."

So I mix and match.

More like < 2.0 HA on any UL gun, except the Opalo that I do hunt with - but the thing is maxed out, and shooting pests gets as old as sweating.

My choices for moving on and staying SIB are rather (L)imited as well.

I was recently gifted a near-death M1a, which has also (last night) now maxed out, leaving me needing yet another and more expensive gun to upgrade to, and one I will need, most likely, several of to max out as well - the M2a, or the M3a.

And while there are UL versions of these out there, they command some pretty stiff prices and are rare to find, largely due to the "fear" that suddenly everyone will stop hunting big game and devote all their time to eco-hunting pests - honestly something very unlikely to happen at best, and in a worst-case scenario MA would simply either nerf those mobs loot, or buff their regen like they did with Combis just recently - or both, to stop "eco-pest-hunts".

As a lowish mob hunter, you have no choice but to use (L), and for mining you are foolish to use anything but (L). But from a low - mid lvl hunting view, the SIB and increased damage and hit are well worth the minimal markup. So you have to buy a new gun or pay to repair your non L one whats the difference? So unless you already have the skills to max out a good UL and have already bought one, you are wasting PED sticking to the UL. But thats all just IMO.
