I would think that in all this time the folks of the EIF know all too well about me and my plans. I find it hard to believe how they wouldn't have chimed in with their research on the any troublesome legalities with regards to such an investment fund/company.

Why have I been singled out with such requests and not them?
I dont really have a problem doing it, but what I will say is that when I have, it wont be made public here for the same reason that had the EIF done the same, it isn't available here. I simply don't see anyone beating down their door asking for these things.

Why?

Simple question I feel fairly entitled to considering the honesty and forthright manner of my answering all of your questions.

Unless it is of course people within the EIF who don't want my competition and using what they can to try and sabotage my efforts.

I think that what you are up against here is a few factors.

1. you are pretty new to this universe and people are seeing that as a possible weakness , illustrated by the fact that you didnt know about the existing entropia exchange.

2.There is a possibililty that people have spotted that you might be "harvesting" information from longer term players which is maybe why eif peeps dont want to chime in and add knowledge to a possible competitor.

3.They might also have spotted that your intentions albeit very good with some great ideas envolve you using as little of your own money as possible.
I think the only way you will get MA to listen to you is if you offer them an investment ( akin to ND and Dethifiers) then they might listen, Im pretty sure that even if MA didnt ,the player base would if you did the investing and then offered shares.

thanks for not answering my question, the answers you have not provided serve to tell me all i need to know.

as for EIF, i will suggest that they may not be based in the US so may not have the same legal issues as you (which may or may not even exist, there are misconceptions being alluded to), they may have addressed concerns to those that asked questions, or they dont care and have just carried on regardless, built up trust and business slowly over time. EIF should be none of your concern.

Where is EIFund located? You've made it abundently clear you are located in Ohio.

Let me ask you this. Before you started promoting fights in Ohio did you check the regulations? I assume that Ohio has a boxing commission or other commission that regulates what you are promoting. Just because Nevada and New Jersey permit boxing does not mean every other state does. And Nevada has different rules than New Jersey per my understanding. When boxing promoters can't get santioned by one state they go shopping for commissions. A few Mike Tyson fights come to mind. Or am I wrong.

Beyond the boxing commission (or whatever), I would assume that you have liablity insurance, E&O insurance, that you are required to have some sort of security in place and that provisions are made in case one of the fighters suffers a serious injury.

Or did you just post on a message board based in Thailand where someone told you that they went to a cock fight in Malaysia so you should be just fine?

I am watching your posts for the last 2-3 days.
Firstly i believe these kind of funds are always positive for the game.
The only problem is trust. And seems MA for some reason doesnt want to create a platform in its game for ideas like these. I mean to allow share issue and management ingame to solve the trust problem. This will provide some kind of challenge or conflict and thats the only thing MA doesnt want in its game.

The guy behind EIF is an Austrian guy as far as i know. Like you he has some kind of succesful RL business. And this is where the similarities between you/EH and him/EIF end.

The guy is a member of Via Dolorosa. Top ten skilled society hugely respected in the EU community. Via Dolorosa assured the masses that EIF is trustworthy and many of its members were the first to invest. Do you have someone who is willing to risk his reputation (a top-10 society) for you?

The guy started in the streets mainly. I remember him advertise EIF in PA or Twins for countless hours/day. And then he was auctioning like crazy to increase the value of EIF shares with his profits. Only place i see you is in this forum. Writing....writing....and writing....and writing...(Oh yeah and you put 300 peds to hunt and craft )...

You thought to invest to EIF but their website was not updated and lacked information. Well what do you expect from their website? To show the latest meteo report in your city? Or the price of eggs in that shop in the corner of your street in Ohio? Their site shows what is necessary to be shown. The share price, the income from their activities, their rules, news and thats it.
You still use the above excuse to spoil EIF and you spread false info in all your posts and then you write:

And from the other side you are asking them questions.
Have you realised that its you having a problem here...not EIF...
People here they ask questions about EH...not EIF. If they have questions about EIF they will ask EIF. If you cant answer them dont try to mix EIF in your sayings....

EIF started how it started. And is there now.
How they did that its their business. They had a plan or whatever they sticked to that and they are where they are now.
Just because you copy/pasted the same plan with them they arent obliged to answer or cover the lack of knowledge you have for this game....
Especially when you use false info for them to attract attention....

Yes, he is still a member of Via Dolorosa society. A highly respected member of our society. It's also true that some of us in Via Dolorosa was the first ones to invest in EIF.

This is an excellent point and perhaps a learning lesson for anyone who is thinking about establishing some sort of fund within Entropia. Get established in a good society first. Then offer your service to those players. Then branch out to the community at large.

I just guess its really difficult to establish a stock trading platform in a virtual world that utilizes a real cash economy. There are probably so many different laws in all the different countries to obey...
Just remember the disclaimer for the US people that MA put under their announcement of going public in an IPO soon.

All sorts of great ideas in there and MA do look at it, as sometimes the wishes come true.

There was a bug in the beginning of the game with the PE exchange terminals and some people figured out a way to get Ped from the terminals

I am not sure if that is the only reason they got shut down, but they went down quick after MA caught wind of the bug.

Hi Jason,

I would suggest having a chat to the folk at MA in regards to the legal issues that may impede your plan ... if any. I do not think you will run into any that will though.

Location will not be an issue for you as you are able to register your business in any country that you have designated as your head office (Office Virtualisation), so you are not limited to the location you live/currently have your EH business name registered.

If US laws somehow impede your plans, simply register your business with it's head office in whaever country has laws that do not.

Downside is, you may be up for a fee to have the shared office setup (~ 150 a month they start from over here in australia, cheaper in a lot of other countries), though you do get all calls to you rerouted, a receptionist to answer all these calls, a dedicated *small 1 room* office space and a shared boardroom which can be booked when required
