Below is the full scope and goal of what Entropia Holdings plans to establish within the Entropia Community.

Entropia Holdings Corp. Virtual Stock Exchange
This virtual stock exchange would originate initially in the Entropia Universe, a Virtual Universe owned and operated by Mindark PE AB based in Sweden. The concept could be ultilized in any virtual universe that enables it’s userbase to purchase land or property using any virtual currency. The explanations herein will be ultilizing the Entropia Universe for the sake of simplicity.

As a citizen of the Entropia Universe (EU) community I am establishing a virtual company entitled Entropia Holdings Corp. This company is an investment club whereby a community of investors will pool their virtual currency to purchase what is called a Land Area within the EU. This land area has the potential for large daily recurring revenue as well as overall value increases. The values of these Land Areas are dependent upon variables such as how often they are hunted on, location, the types of virtual animals installed into these properties and overall awareness of the benefits of said property.

As an investor of Entropia Holdings Corp, the virtual company that maintains the investments of it’s collective group, one can purchase virtual shares of stock in the company. The currency collected from the sale of these shares are then used to acquire further assets within the Universe. As the value of these purchased properties increase, as will the value of the shares of stock.

The Virtual Stock Exchange will take place by means of Terminals throughout the EU. These terminals will be the tool used to purchase and or sell shares of stock based on the approximate value of each share and the desired selling price of the shares owner. These shares of stock are backed by the value of the assets of Entropia Holdings Corp or other controlling enitity and will fluctuate like any other company in the real world based on the aforementioned variables but will increase in value more consistently than they will decrease based on the exponential growth of funds obtained through the recrurring revenue of the properties initially purchased with the funds which is the saved and used to make further proporty purchases.

Example: I form a company and issue 500,000 deeds/shares of stock at 1 unit of currency each. I then take the investment funds and purchase a Land Area at the price of 300,000 units of currency and use the remaining units of currency to install animals for hunting, maintenance etc. The property will then generate a recurring stream of revenue averaging 300 units of currency per day which is then saved and used to purchase a second Land Area. If the first Land Area is valued at 500,000 units of currency after being well established, the additional assets from the second Land Area will then cause the original shares of stock to increase in value by as much as 100% all of which is backed by the current market value of the Land Areas owned by the opertating company.

The exact value of each share of stock will be determined by monthly reports on the progress of these Land Areas and their respective earnings.

To ulitize a Stock Exchange Terminal, which can be located in cities or business disctricts throughout the EU as well as privately owned Banks, one must simply click on the terminal to operate it. To sell a share of stock, you simply place the deeds for your number of shares of stock into the terminal and select your desired sale price which can be higher or lower than the determined value at that time of the month based on how fast or slow you wish to sell those shares. To make a trade, whether it be 1 share or 1,000 shares of said stock, the seller will be charged a transaction fee. This feel will go to the owners/operators of the Universe/Virtual World. In EU’s case, the fee would go to Mindark or at least a percentage thereof. The remainder of said fee may go to the operator of the private banking facility the terminal is housed in, much like that of a real world ATM Machine.

Upon purchase of the share/shares of stock, there is also a transaction fee to be paid on behalf of the purchaser with the same breakup of fees distributed amongst the terminal holder and the Universe’ operator.

To establish shares of stock in a virtual company, the executor or founder of the investment company must contact the Universe’ operator, in this case Mindark and apply for an investment club license. In this process the founder of the new investment entitity must demonstrate a number of initial investors who have committed to investments into the new company. Once approved by Mindark, the company will be issued a number of shares of stock deeds to then be sold to their investors.

The number of shares issued will be based on 500,000 units of virtual currency, or in the case of Entropia Universe 500,000 PED’s which is the currency of EU. Each share of stock is worth 1 PED.

At such a time that a single deed for a share of stock is valued at more than what is commonly acceptable for an individual to purchase, that share of stock could be split into multiple shares of stock which would then bring the overal cost of said share down to a level that would make the purchase of such shares more accesible.

Security:
To protect investors/share holders in the event that the investment company’s operator could liquidate his/her company’s assets and convert the virtual currency into real world currency thus leaving the investors shares worthless, any sale of a company’s assets must be brokered by Mindark with the funds acquired through the sale of said assets to be distributed amongst the current holders of the company’s shares based on the sale price and associated value of those shares.

Company Director
The investment companies director will be responsible for founding the company and maintaining the properties he/she purchases and as such should be compensated for their time and effort. The Director will be allowed to purchase personal shares of stock like anyone else in the community and should receive bonus shares upon reaching various financial milestones. Quite possibly a percentage of any transaction fees from the sale/purchase of shares would be in order as well to offset some of the marketing money spent on building awareness for the investment company.

Who is Jason M. Appleton (a.k.a) MMA Big Show
MMA Big Show is a Mixed Martial Arts fight promoter based out of Cincinnati, OH and owner of the "Big Show of Pro/Am Mixed Martial Art" the MMA Big Show, LLC. Appleton has been promoting MMA events since 2006 which take place in Arenas, Casinos and the like all over. Having built the MMA Big Show from nothing while a Super Heavyweight training fighter into what is now capable of selling out venues all over with a full season television series just around the corner with the CinCW network, Appleton is also an MMORPG addict.

Jason started in MMA as a training fighter and got a crazy idea to start his own company he knew only one side of the business in. People thought he was crazy and wondered if he could pull it off. Now Jason owns and operates one of the largest Pro/Am Promotional Companies in the region built from the ground up learning as he pushed forward.

MMA Big Show is also a father of 3 and enjoys raising his family of 1 boy and 2 girls with his wife Lacy in their home in Loveland, OH.

Appleton is also partner in NakedIndie.com which is still under development and about to undergo a major graphics overhaul by Mindsmack, one of the worlds most sought after web developers. The project has been in development for over 3 years which budgets exceeding over $300,000 in backend custom development alone. The graphics overhaul is in efforts to finalize the site for an up coming beta launch for the public.

1) Why invest with you instead of Entropia Investment Fund?
Personal preference maybe? I'm not knocking the EIF at all. My first encounter was that of lacking any real information. Hell before I started with Entropia Holdings I was looking for something to invest in which is how I got the idea for EHC (Entropia Holdings Corp), but after visiting their site I couldn't find any information and saw I had to register just to learn anything and few of the pages worked etc so I just assumed it was dead and moved on.

Aside from that, maybe EIF is a good investment for folks. But who founded it? Someone posted about it before and nobody could tell who ran the fund. Some "legendary" figure in the shadows apparently. Nobody seemed to know exactly.

I guess the main difference here is transparency in that everything about EHC is out in the open. We hide nothing, I hide nothing. It's not some exclusive opportunity offered only to the "elite", it's sole focus is being something everyone and anyone can participate in.

2) Will the personal details of the investors be available to the other investors? Will they be available to the board?
No and no. I will be the only person who has the personal details of our investors. The board won't need to have so and so phone number and if someone does need it, they can simply ask the investor for their number or email etc directly. I really don't see any need for it to be otherwise.


3) What is your personal motivation behind this fund?
To have fun! Get involved! Create something big! It's mans genetic destiny to create, develop and build! I have a hard time just sitting around shooting animals. I want to create and establish something larger than a number in my skills list! I want to have press releases about the great success and foresight of my concept when we have accomplished our goals and made some solid money. I want to build working relationships with serious members of the financial community so that when the time comes, we can create new ways of doing business in EU. Luck is Preparation meeting opportunity. Plain and simple. EHC is about forcing luck to benefit our group.

4) If you expect to make money from the revenue of a LA, why not just invest yourself?
Because that's boring!!!! Where is the fun in that? Ok, I buy and LA and then promote it, make some monthly PED and keep grinding. Yaay! No. I want to build something here that goes beyond an LA. I want to establish the basis for a real stock market in this game (looong term of course). I want to be the guy that heads up a group of supposed underdogs and achieves victory in something so many people said wont be done for one reason or another.

The way I see it, MA is willing to work with people who have strong ideas to help the community and the resources to do such. If I just buy an LA and run it, I've done nothing but that. If I establish a group of people who are after the same goal of working together to accomplish the same task, those relationships and resources will only continue to grow as will our reputation, the number of people wanting to get involved, our ability to sway MA in different directions to benefit the community, the list goes on.

Not to mention the difference between having one person with a vested interested in a Land Area compared to 200. What do you think will benefit a land owner more. Owning it himself while struggling to get people to visit it or have 200 people all sharing in ownership while those same people are hunting on the property together. COMMUNITY!!!!

5)How much ped do you have 'committed' from investors so far? Not how much collected, but how much committed.
Committed, in one month or over the first 6 months?
1 Month commitments I have over 15,000 PED, over 6 months close to 90,000 PED so far.

6)How much do you expect to commit to this investment?
Probably 50,000 PED as is the max. This is to ensure not any one party has a majority investment over others and ends up feeling like things should be ran his/her way over what the Board decides. This includes myself.

7)And, seeing as people want to know more about you, can you give us some background, how did you get into EU?
I got into EU after looking for something to replace Age Of Conan. I knew EU existed a long time ago and looked it up out of curiosity to see how things have changed. Now I'm kicking myself for not jumping in 2 years ago when I first heard about it.

8)You said you have a 'Benz', what type, how much did it cost, and how did you pay for it?
It's an E430 Sport and all I will say is that I paid cash for it and I certainly didn't get it at a government auction. I dont like debt and if I can't afford it I don't buy it, with the exception of Lacys Tahoe that we needed fast for the kids.

9)What assurance can you give the public that you won't take the money and run?
I could give as many assurances as anyone would want but it wouldn't mean anything. You are personally and hour and a half away from me. Wouldn't be hard to find me since I'm all over the place. All I can say is, if I had any plans whatsoever on ripping people off, there are much easier ways to do that not to mention I wouldn't be so open about who I am, where I'm from etc. I would be under a purely anonymous username and would be making up stories about who I am in RL to cover my trail. I think I've proven I'm not exactly stupid so I would like to think the public here could figure out that if I had sinister motives I could do better than this.

9)What is your first impression of the EU community? And the EF community?
Well, many are understandably skeptical yet curious while others are just jesters using others for jokes. Such is the way of the internet. Overall though I find many people here I admire and would love to build relationships with such as you, Nobert and others. It's all relative to the individual. I really couldn't brand a community one way or another on the notions of a few.

is there a real life Limited company backing this venture? do funds go to that company directly (ie in the real world) or only through the game? theres an awful lot of personal information requested for an ingame service.

Ah OK, run around a bit and you will see them. In the places that normally house the crafting machines in the entrance corridors of the older trade terminals (as well as the "bloody great big building" in Hades)

Sounds like a interesting plan then. As well as sending MA an email, why not also post this in the Wishlist Section in this forum. But I do remember reading somewhere that MA had to shelve the Stock Exchange thing for compliance reasons or something, cant recall exactly. Old thread about it here somewhere.

All sorts of great ideas in there and MA do look at it, as sometimes the wishes come true.
