EnMatter/Ore selling method?

Is there software which exists that calculates how much you should receive for selling a load of different EnMatters and/or Ores? It is very difficult to determine because the Markup is skewed by the auction fees, and sellers usually just yell "BUYING ORES, ENMATTERS" which leaves the prices for each item unknown. It would be POSSIBLE to ask how much the buyer pays in % for each item, but it would take a lot of time and seemingly unnecessary effort to ask that of every potential buyer.

As there's no fixed price/markup for anything there's no way to do this in a global way. Street prices are normally lower than auction prices (because of e.g. auction fees and "people in need"). If somebody pays 115% when somebody else pays 113% it's up to you to choose to who you sell to (probably the 115%-person ). If somebody hides the prices then it's his/her fault not yours. So don't be afraid to ask. Just be kind enough to use the chat-action and not the trade-action .

As far as calculation is concerned use PEAss. It has a calculator which can hold a bunch of calculations. It also has a button which sums up all results. So you can do all multiplications for the various items you have with their markups and then press that button.

some orebuyers have their own daily updated site where you can check their buy-MUs. Basically a buy MU of MU-5% for most of the standard ores and enmatters between 106-200% is commonly accepted even though some traders tend to make it MU-6% lately since the markup-fluctuations have become a rollercoaster, but i think for the sake of the miners MU-5% is still the most fair thing for all. Its not like that miners should carry all the risk and traders should be always trade without it. For bigger ammounts you always should use the auctions. Or go run around a get some tradelines for your stuff, some crafters give you more than even MU when you come with decent ammounts.

Always ask the %'s, throw all your resources in the trade window and ask them to list - if they don't then don't trade with them.

There is something called "haggling". You have to ask the highest possible price that the buyer will pay. It's a bit like playing poker. The people who are good at it are the ones who can make money in this game (they are probably the same people who can make money on eBay and other such places). If you can learn it then you will make money - don't expect to find software which can do it for you though.

Yea, kinda depends on what basis you're selling. I'm trying to do occasional ores/enmatter trading with -5% markup rate (or -4 for refined), so I made a little program to easily calculate the total value (input full markup and tt value). Didn't know about Peass . You're welcome to a copy if you like ^^.
