I think we should have a centralized point where we can access shopkeepers from. It's really annoying to have to run all over the place to find the shopkeepers. Also, if you own a shopkeeper, its really difficult to get customers to your shop if its in the middle of no where.
Also, we should be able to trade with people on our friends list without actually having to be in the same area. The way I understand programming is that any items that are bought or sold are not actually moved, but rather deleted in one place, and recreated in another with the same specifications. There is no way to MOVE code around, its more a copy and delete in its most simple context. People should be able to make fixed price sales in the auction, and other people can make fixed price offers on it. When the seller has a look and sees that Mr. Blob has made an offer he likes, he can agree to the sale. How about having an addition to the storage system. People can put prices on stuff in their storage, and other people can browse through all this stuff from an auction terminal. If they see something they like, they buy it. Quote:

I do not know. I do not know. I do not know
There are so many reasons why I think an influx of new ppl into the game would be alright, and so many reasons why I somewhat fear it. When all is said and done, I suppose that PE will endure just fine (as it has since the TI sale) so long as some kind of long-term/veteran player base stays intact. Of course ppl come and ppl go, but keeping a core group of players around (ie those who are not newbies; those who will continue to play; often those who deposit some amount of money, etc.) amidst the newcommers will help this game out immensely. I'm not so certain that little changes will necessarily help the game if MA is to send hordes of n00bs our way Certainly, fundamental changes to the mentoring system is a must either with or without the possible Asian market. The same goes for flaws in the system that might overlook scamming, etc. But, if we retain a relatively PE-saavy group of players who are interested in the long-term, I think the game will pull through. As for investors- certainly some of them would choose to play the game. Hey, frankly it is nice when I invest in a company irl to actually buy their products That, however, will be a challenge. Certainly, if one such investor were to ever strike it rich in game off of an enormous hof, there would be much discussion/speculation/rumours. MA will have to be veeeeeery careful of such a scenerio. Indeed, perhaps there ought to be talk about investors not being "available" to partake in certain professional incentives (ie finding lost items; uber hof searches, etc.). I do not know how this could be implemented, and to be honest I could see the flip side of the coin saying "hey, who cares if they invest in MA... if they play the game they ought to have the right to loot anything as any1 else does". But until MA gives us more evidence of looting being purely random, I can only see such trends as negatively impacting the community and thus the game.Just my ![]() |

from player side , i wonder what more we can do... there allready :
- forum - item chart - guide (even guide you DL with game is made by player) - people that do mentoring ( and i know people who do it without MA system) - near all time when someone ask something in town if the question is polite there at least 1 reply but i see often more. - soc with noob to help noob ... for me main problem are MA side. for exemple all stupid little bug that give you bad feeling.the bug name just after you loggin is a good exemple. 1) that name bug , bother me by a way or other since i play , that mean VU 5.0 2 year ago. 2) this is a little stupid bug that is half fix in one way or other eatch VU , but still bugged and boring in other. 3) the worst is that bother you right after you log in game.i mean you come for play and have fun , and first thing happen is stupid bug that bother you. 4) this kind of problem when it linked to the last VU must be fixed fast with a patch like 1 or 2 week after..not wait next vu 2 month after. |

Oops... seems my post didn't fit the topic of what we can do.
I think we can take on more noobies as disciples. We can be more friendly to the noobies... even if they are begging. There are 2 kinds of newbie players. Those who want to learn... and those that want to be spoon fed. And frankly, if you're one of those that want to be spoon fed, you may as well go play one of the other MMORPGs. But if you like to think. If you like to try new things, and try work things out for yourself, and be a part of something different... then you'll stay. For those that don't "get" the game... it may be better if they leave. |

To add to Ragna's post, one thing I'd very much like to see is a personal way to describe your auctions. I can imagine that a creative person using a nice explanation of the pros and cons of the item for sale would draw more attention than someone who just offered the item, and nothing more.
An Ebay-like system maybe, with options to draw extra attention to your items. Definitely an option to sell more than the current maximum amount of items, to help out the traders. I seriously think that next to Crafters, Traders have the most boring job in-game. They have to go through countless cycles of people expressing interest only to see the deal cancelled. And the worst part? They gain no skills whatsoever. Give them a way to make trading more fun. Perhaps remove the fee for low tt-stuff? At this moment, a trader selling, say, 10 PED of Wool won't bother using the auction, since the extra PED will make it too expensive for buyers, and thus unprofitable for the trader. More to come... |

I think personnall, there should either be some basic starting equipment (man mph/jester and some armour). In the starting point there ought to also be a shooting gallery, something that can bring you up to 100-200 with the gun you chose at the start (mph or jester) without any risk of dieing. Once you get to the skill you have to pay per hour/bullets to use the range and it isn't as effective as shooting real animals.
We also need an ingame tutorial, not one too lenthy but enough to teach peole about decay, the way prices work (tt +x and %). What animals they should start on etc. |
