A fairytale gone bad - ILW and ESI

Hello all,

We all know about MA having changed ESI's not too long ago and since then prices pretty much very high ... So looting an ESI is like good chocolate (simply wonderful

But if you click on my 'only' achievement you will see the last time I actually looted an ESI ... I hunt atrox about every day for multiple hours and throw in bulls/cows as well as longu and other mid-level stuff ... Now since I started playing EU I have only ever looted an ESI twice ... So here my question

Do they still exist, what mobs drop them do I need to give up chocolate in order to loot one again, why is MA so cruel and why is my neighbors dog constantly barking when I leave the house ?? (PS: Did I go off topic, hehe)

Anyway, serious thoughts are more then welcome (maybe I need to hunt different mobs in order to stand a chance to loot on of those baby's

My brother (Jetboy) and I were hunting the big Longu's last night N of Nate's and we looted an ESI off a Longu Alpha or Old Alpha which we got globals on. So they still do drop, but perhaps not that frequently.

The wife has looted 2 small (<20 PED) ESI's from Armax Bull in the last few weeks.

Last one I looted was the day of the VU in which they changed ESI's....250PED one from a Warrior. Sold for 200%...wish i'd kept hold of it now

2 weeks ago I looted MANY ... like 10-15 or so from armax that week.

This week none so far.. but ive not hunted so many armaxes but more other mobs so I guess that explains it

in over a year i have looted 4 or 5 ESI. there are, and always have been, fair rare. the main difference is that now, they loot in larger tt value. think about it, for every 20 tt ESI there used to be 2 old style, for every 50 tt there were 5 and so on.

the last global i had was on CNd dome 4 i think ..the atrox one....it was a 105 ped ESI ...about around Sept or Oct last year...i got one before that on dome 7 with Exo's that was 58 ped i ithink..since then ..nothing...so i think they are lot rarer ...but that is my personal opion.

I've long since lost count of the ESI's (even GSI's) I looted before the system changed. Since then I have not looted a single one. They are still out there, but the system has totally changed.

Looted 5 ( all 10-20ped) in one weekend from Warriors west of Troy, the other folk hunting there had all looted a few that weekend too... Strange thing is that i haven't looted any from any other mob recently
