SOLUTION!!!

Had a brain storm.... How about this? N00bs wanna sell sweat for outrageous prices?? FINE! Then we start to sell goblin/Pixie/Jester D-1s etc for crazy prices to them too

How about that? Let's turn the tables on them and we'll see who's crying then!

I wouldn't help a n00b out like this. If they cant help out in the game financially at some point then imo they arent worth the bother..

I've helped out way too many n00bs and gave them my cash/weapons/armour only to have the little shits quit the game the very next week.

My days of helping non-depositing n00bs are over... MF is just a pile of shit. Until MindArk can sort out a way for players to get sweat without paying n00bs an outright fortune, I shall not be using it.

It's a good idea Mighty, but my patience has ran out with n00bs these days. Hope it works out for you

exactly the way I feel! used to help all n00bs them out now they just take the piss...

n00b - "can you give me something to sell"
me - "yep here's a 8 ped ep17, a 6 ped fap 5 and some basic pants and shirt" n00b - "ok what else can u give me"

viagra...
you havent been around too long... sweat prices used to be around .5 pecs-1 lol... the idea that WED be stealing from THEM by lowering sweat prices forcefully is rediculous...

youre saying that a n00b, who insists on a free outlook on an expensive form of entertainment, because they refuse to pay, deserves that money more than i do-- because im paying THAT SAME "5 DOLLARS" versus THAT SAME "1.5 DOLLARS"

sweat prices dont rise for the sake of the n00bs... it rises to inflate MA economy, if it worked for the n00bs then you would be seeing people with their FIRST sweat avatar (as opposed to their EIGHTH) running around collecting sweat.

there are no fewer oj's now than there were back when it was 1 pec each.
so dont try to say that im stealing from a n00b... when not only do i pay the exact same for their demands that theyd pay for mine, but i actually worked for years to accumulate mine.
and why the hell are you comparing PEDS to USD when youre talking about a nondepositor?! you just said that you can hit sweat cap at about 50 peds in sweat... well, 80% of those nondepositors in orange live in first world countries--they can damn well go out and be responsible and WORK for a short while... because it doesnt take long to accumulate that 5 usd from any job in a first world country.

as for the monetary viewpoint... ILL bite the cost, i dont care.
the inflation rates on this crap is rediculous, by the time its done MA will be pulling stunts on the MF system just like they have with hunting and crafting... thats not a direction ANYONE wants this to go in.
because if I pay for the difference, that means that all the vets out there who use MF are going to be buying ME at a few hundred % LOWER than they are now.... and that would mean the world to me.
MA put such a huge part of the PE economy in the hands of n00bs...
if thats supposed to be a good thing, why dont we hire alan greenspans 4-year-old son to do the work?

Perhaps I worded myself wrong... I agree that I have not been around long enough, but I do know that sweating nowadays is heaps harder than it used to. The noobies did not decide to make it harder. MA did. Why should WE pump more money into something THEY messed up? If Shell inflates their oil prices, are you buying up oil reserves so everybody can drive again at normal rates, or do you tell Shell to get their business together? (granted. That's rather simplified, but works in a way as a comparison, I think).

I agree that there are probably lots of dickheads running around in PE insisting on free stuff. The solution is simple: Don't give them anything, and they'll go away. I more point to the honest hard-working noobie who IS willing to sweat and deposit later on.

Its not the n00bs fault that the prices are this high. Its the price of the demand and the wilingness to pay. Not the n00bs have determinated the prices, but the buyer and reseller. I was once in a deal for a hughe amount of sweat as the price was just. 1.7 PEC per bottle, I needed to buy with my partner 40k sweat per week. To achieve such a big quantity, you need to offer better prices than the rest, so we offered 1.8 PEC /bottle, after some time someone else offered 1.9 PEC/ and it was a run till 2.4 after which we wouldnt have any profit.

the n00bs werent charging the 2.4, but we gave them to them. soon after it the price dropped, but just to 2.0 and it never went lower again. So I actually can imagine that the price fight is still big, and that some bigger MF user or suplier are in need of hughe amounts of sweat. but the sweater can only gain up to max. 6k sweat till the caps is reached. and you gather aprox 100 Sweat in half of an hour, when it is some good sweating.

there arent just enough organised places for sweater, sweat farms etc...
the only 3 places I know about are, phoenix, N of Zychion, and NE of Zychion, the best place IMO.

If there would be more places for easy sweating, than would the supply be bigger, and there wouldnt even be a reason for any price fight.

Just My 2 PEC....

As I said in another post recently, sweating is NOT difficult if you combine it with axe skilling. Sweat a low-end mob till it attacks you and then kill it with the axe.

I have a new disciple who has been using this system. She plays an hour or so a day (which is one or two axes worth). In her first week she has sweated around 1700 bottles and got her axe skill up above 400. She has also (so she tells me) only died once in that time. I 'sponsored' her with an axe, a Mann and an almost empty fap-5.

But the simple answer for lower sweat prices is simply for MA to provide more sweat per attempt / better chance of successful attempt. Then even though the price drops the noobs still get the same income (as they have more to sell), MF users are happy because MF is cheaper, miners are happy because Nexus sells better, and even MA are happy because they get more decay from the MF usage! Everybody wins!

I agree

I guess because there it's alot harder to gather sweat nowadays, the prices have rised.
The only sollution imo would be to make it easier to gather sweat again, or to develop better techniques (see here), so that mentors can teach it to there disciples.

I'm sorry but i really don't agree, especially the thingie about beeing forced to make an initial deposit.
I'm pretty confident that alot of people that play and deposit nowadays would never have started if there was an initial fee.
It took me about 3 months before i deposited my first peds.

It would just destroy the total concept of this game.

Anyway... it's not my concern. I have already said I will not be using MF anymore.

I *will* however be selling my good to n00bs at outrageous prices..

I want sweating removed completely and will lobby for it.I dont want any freeloaders sucking up cash from useful people who deposit.Add 1-3sweats in every mob loot (cept robots, duuh) instead
