GSI Market manipulation

I was watching prices on gsi's and all of a sudden they jumped 50+ peds in price. I am skeptical to think that this is because of normal market methods of supply and demand. I saw that 8-10 gsi's being sold buy one buyer and that buy also bidding on other gsi's to increase the prices. I think that this is being done to raise prices and increase the prices on the tracking sites. Just wanted to let people know that this is what I think is going on and if you guys agree. Becareful buying!

Could be that the guy buying em all has alot stockpiled and wants to earn a hefty extra buck by trying to raise prices

Let's fully encourage him! I shall throw two GSIs in the market soon that he can buy for slightly under his selling price!

drop rate fluctuate so much , I got 2 in one hunt about a week ago - but I've had none since. You do have a point tho I agree there's some artificail manipulation going on.

During the hunt of Thorios for the Unique Legendary Axe there weren't a lot of GSIs dropped in general.

I didn't get a single one, nor have I looted one in a few weeks in fact. Sure I've heard folks get them, but I haven't - nor have many of my friends.

I think the drop rate has decreased for GSIs, hence the increased prices. But I don't doubt there is some manipulation taking place. I'm annoyed I didn't buy a bunch at those lower prices during the past couple weeks. Oh well!

I brought this suspected manipulation to attention in this thread. I only suspected it. I still don't know if this is the case.

The only way we could break this man is if a large amount of GSI were flooded onto the market. In order for him to maintain his market share he would have to buy the chips and mark them up. We don't know how large this fellows bankroll is so we would either break him or give him actual control of the GSI in the game.

I'm glad they are going up. They should be more. I remember when I used to get 2-300 for them! It used to be awesome to get that in your loot. Now they are chump change... The other issue, though, it is that skills are down respectively as well. I don't know if that's good or bad though. Having too many noobs chipping themselves uber @ 150 ped a pop. I don't chip much myself, just a few tailoring skills when I got started. That shit's expensive.

I encourage a low gsi price because it open a whide marked for skill sales. As gsi go down in price they also drop more frequently so i can not understand why people cry they not getting 200 ped for a gsi anymore but loot them 2 or 3 times more often. I would love to see the gsi price around 50 ped or lower. Its a joke you pay more for the gsi than the skills loaded on some skills.

I hope MA will remove all the empty Skill Implants from the loot and just put GSIs into the TT for free. If I want to buy skills, I want to buy skills and not some fucking chip that's used to transport those skills (I don't need to buy a storage box or something either if I want to buy a weapon, armor or something from someone else).

i disagree, ppl buying skills should be paying for the skills not the chips, i find this news disturbing. lets hope its just a peak, bring GSI under 100 peds
