Heard the same, After the Amp nerf they went down some but not more than to the level of 4k ped still. Now they are unstopable....

Cry about that my friend and il cry about that I could buy a 106 for 2k but I didnt log on until the day after then it was sold at 2,2k @ my friend.

i remember buying an a105 amp in 2003 for tt+25 and feeling ripped off..
i still have it, heh..and a few of every amp upto 106

my point is: a106 isnt worth more then +100, and a105 isnt worth more then +50.

this trend of inflating amps is madness, since they're still dropping, ffs!
so my observations on the subject:

market manipulation, temporary buying frenzy, general stupidity and ignorance of the disparity between perceived value and inherent value of the given items.

sure, its nice to brag how dumb you feel of not buying it for tt+several kiloPEDs

and rablings that future is L...
the future is current situation PLUS (L).

and dont get me started on price prognoses in this thread.

and argument that by putting some ridiculous amount of money through non-L amp compared to L amp you actually make profit... thats just wacko.

ofc, someone might argue that its "the markets will" and "cant stop the trend" and bs like that, well heres the deal:

all amps still drop, L amps suck, people stash items in order to create a artificial scarcity, in order to drive price up.

if an idiot pays 2,2k for a106, isnt it just his problem, and not mine?

why jump to conclusions, like "ZOMG AMP MARKET GONE MAD, in 10.000 years they'll cost more then USA's GNP!!!!oneoneellevenPANICnowANDBUYamps!!" ?!!

ps: funny how everyone forgot crafted amps and that their efficiency will be well above any (L) amp there is, bought at a sane markup?
