50k+ Losses

Hi,
Some of you may know me others may not. As those that know me will confirm I was a player that played 7 days a week upto about 8 hours every night without fail..

Well.. my absence in EU has been through some major losses of which I would like to make others aware of that are maybe new to the game..

My losses are in excess of 50k+ peds in under 7 months with abosolutly no return on investment.. I'm not expecting a profit, god no! (I expect to pay for entertainment just as we all do), but I began to get concerned when the money rapidly started to dissapear, that was then funded by chipping out my skills and selling my posseions etc, this continued to fund me in the last few months until all the ped,skills,weapons and equipment had gone..
I started to maybe think that my ava may have a bug so contacted MA Support and filed my case and requested that checks were made to check out my thoughts of a bug....

I was astounded to get a reply back saying that they would carry out the checks but it would be leived with a fee!!! I mean.. after 50k+ losses.. I dont think so!! So, they agreed to continue without the fee..

This was on the 4th July 2007.. many, many replys went back and forth between us, MA claiming it was due to my low skills.. my weapons, techniques etc etc and they stated that there was nothing wrong with my account!
The 1st support case was closed so I sumitted a second as many questioned were left unanswered and all their findings were reported without proof and they refused to prove that checks had actually been carried out only to advise me to depo again and stating my luck would change sooner or later.. after two further depo's.. nothing.. again I submitted the amounts depoed, the time it took to lose it all and the date etc to MA Support but still nothing!!

All cases have now been closed by MA and they are forwarding my case to Release Manager or somebody to look again.. I feel like I'm just being pushed around the office and will end up in someones waste bin!

I informed MA Support that I would make others aware of the facts over the last 7 months and well, thus this post...

I miss Entropia Universe more than I can tell you all but for those maybe just looking to join or start a proffesion, please take the time to read this post and decide for yourselves if its a good move or not!!

50k+ peds is a lot to lose in just 7 months ( I have played EU for 2yrs)

i write some post to MA support for same reasons and they give me same answears but last few days luck find me again after many month losses

I hope you wear a seat belt when you drive, but seriously, that does suck.

But don't feel too bad, I've already lost about 700k+ PED (note location). But at least with my losses I can have a positive outlook and not feel like i've been giped.

Edit: The reason for my example, wasn't for pity, because truthfully It doesn't bother me because everything worked out for the most part, but that things can and often do get worse.

I have deposited more than 3.5k Us dollars in the last six to seven months and also have nothing to show for it. In fact, my last deposit of $500 shortly after the "eonom event" is already gone.... spent on ammo and decay only. Not one global in that period of time either.

I also expect to pay for my entertainment, but hunting is supposed to be a profession. Don't people go into certain professions to make money? Why call it a profession if you can't expect to at least stay on even ground (fuck, even semi close to even ground would make me happy).

Time to chip out my skills and move onto better things in life.

Surely if you had sold all your skills equipment and just withdrawn the monies instead of using them to fund your playing with ever decreasing skills/tools/weapons you may have broke even?
